I deviated from what I usually do (heavy singles off blocks or heavy TBDL singles) because I felt good and wanted to get a better idea where my DL 1RM is at. 590 felt hard, but looking at the recording, it went up good and form was good. Most of my strength is back I think.

Left knee felt funny, so I didnt push it. My knee didnt cave at all. I just have adhesion issues, presumably from spending over 4 hours driving yesterday.

The only thing I could think of doing that wouldnt mess up my knee, quads and calves was TBDLs, and Absalom had the bar loaded already, so I did some.

yeah, nothing super great yet, but I feel strong again after feeling weak due to the colonoscopy a few weeks ago.

I decided to change up the program a bit. I'm thinking pulling 3x3 with good form and good speed is going to be way better than doing an 8+ rep set.

You just need to get yourself an Absolam...I help him load the bars, rack his weights and spot when I can. And in return I get use his stuff while he yells at me for letting my knees cave and having a rounded back. Good trade if you ask me!

That went up pretty fast, honestly. Some shakes but usually when you shake that much it stalls.

Just a Q but are you rounding your upper back more than normal to start the lift? I guess I should go back and compare it to past DLs but on first glance it looks a bit more and I'm not sure it's intentional or not.
