Still looks like you start to bend your arms early and your setup seems like it could be better somehow, but your form is getting much much better imo. You'll be cleaning 315 in no time.

Yeah the arm bend is very apparent in this vid. It looks like I'm rowing the weight up. I'm not getting much hip pop either.

255x3x3 These were pretty good. Probably couldn't have done 4 reps, but def coulda done more sets if I had to.

Snatch

Programming was to do 70%x3, 80%x2x2, 85%x1x2 or something, but I wasn't doing that since I'm learning snatches still. I basically worked on doubles and triples for a while, moving up in weight.

Eventually did:
95x3x3
115x3x2
125x2
135x1x3
145x1x2

I need to work on landing lower, as I'm power snatching most of these. I need to record them next time I snatch.

10 thrusters at 115#
400m run

Did 5+11 which was pretty good compared to most guys.

Afterwards I worked on double unders and muscle ups. I'm going to try and work on both just about every time I go to the gym

Pretty dumb wod but it got my power snatching and OHS a lot so I'll log it.

3 power snatches @ 115
6 OHS @ 115.

rx was 135 which I started with but I can't OHS that much easily repeatedly and the power snatches were pretty tough at that weight as well.

Just getting in lots of volume. Did a lot at 45, 95, 115 and 125. Feeling better. Getting better. Need to film.

C&J:

Worked up to a fairly easy 185. Need to try 195. My jerk is bad and should feel bad. Need to film!!!

Front Squat:

235x3x4 Pretty hard after 75 mins of the prior stuff!

Jerk werk.

Supposed to work up to a 2-2-2-1-1-1 weight. I thought I'd get to like 185 or so considering I C&Jed 185 w/o much problem a couple times last night. Well, I am just horrible at jerks.

165 was hard for a double. Like, way too hard. The DYEL dude I was sharing a rack with was doing 165 as well and his looked much better. I seriously need to practice these a lot. I can't get a good hand positioning it seems. Too much fingertip, not enough of a solid grip. I think long forearms are making it extra hard.

The split jerk was pretty hard to learn for me personally. One thing that helped me for whatever reason was paused jerks. Pause at the bottom of the dip and explode. Either way keep practicing and it will come along eventually.

I fully acknowledge that I suck and haven't practiced it much and need to get on that. I fully expect that I will be able to jerk better with some practice but for right now it's really difficult and uncomfortable to get my hands in the right position.

Paused jerks? Interesting. Well, right now I need to focus on my hands I think. When I'm ready to start the jerk my hands are about 2" wider than my clean grip. The bar is basically in line w/ my calluses or the base of my fingers (I dunno, just imagining it atm) and my elbows are lower than a front squat position but not a lot lower. It's very hard to figure out how to rest the weight in the rack position AND have a decent grip on the bar.

46:12 rx no vest. Pushups were absolutely my debilitating factor. Ran first and last mile in 8mins. Pullups and airsquats were a breeze but I had to take a lot of rests on pushups. I did {5-10-15} x 20 which I think I would do again. Seems good.
