General cutting questions since I've never really cut seriously.

I've only done caloric cutting before (didn't pay attn to c/p/f) but I know more now and I should clearly try and maintain muscle so I'll need a lot of brotein. What about fat? Keep the fat up around 20-35% of calories or decrease the fat?

Skim milk with shakes or just water?

I'm 6'2" 211, and ~16-17%bf. Lift 5x/week. Looks like my maintenance calories are like 3300-3500 so I should probably try and target like 2700-3000 calories/day. Sound reasonable?
water in shakes, if you must.

the real reason you're bloated is protein shakes, they're a one way ticket to bloat city. mixing some powder with oatmeal would be a more enjoyable than drinking it with water imo. of course drinking egg whites is superior to protein powder.

i'd aim for 2300-2400 cals, 3k sounds like way too much unless you're really active during the day.

Is it just me, or is that maintenance number a bit high? I've calculated my maintenance at 2800 or so with similar stats (6'4" 203 lbs, 15-16% bf), and I've been doing 2500 on and 2000 off for a while now, and it seems to have been working well.

spartacus: 'war of the damned' worth watching? how does it compare to blood and sand?

maintenance cals too high. also I don't see how it is helpful to think about fat as a percentage of total cals.

So, if I want to read Thremp posts I have to read the Beginner's thread now? 2p2 must really be going down the ****ter.

I lift 4x a week, so I don't really see how it could be that different.

That one extra day makes aaaaaaall the difference bro, your body is in total fat burning mode once you reach that tipping point.

Also, Su/M/W/Th schedule is pretty elite. I hope I can get back on this schedule start of May.

He possibly assumed he'd be able to sneak in under the radar, or more likely he got annoyed at some post and just couldn't help himself.

All the top searches are to professional presences (she's a doctor, they're mostly doctor review sites). No pictures, no facebook, no myspace, no tumblr, twitter, blogs, whatever. No newspaper articles or anything like that. I tried lots of different tactics and just could not find a thing. I think maybe I found one of her sisters but I'm not sure, I barely remember what they look like.

I don't think I've ever run across someone with just no web footprint at all. Oh I did find a lawsuit she was involved in though.
At first glance, I thought maybe she just had a stalker and therefore was keeping a low profile. As I thought about it more, seems like she may actually have multiple stalkers.

You mean to tell me I can get loco ripped if I just add another day? Why didn't anyone tell me before now?

But yeah, it may be too much due to not having as much fuel in my system. Hopefully I can maintain my lifts. I just recently got to a 3 plate squat and 2 plate bench. Dipping below those would make me sad.
I had the same exact scenario when I started my cut, well minus the solid bench numbers, as I hit 315 a few weeks before I started. My suggestion, buy a lot of tissues.

There are actually two methods.

1) Add an extra workout day
2) Add an extra set

Working out 4 days? Work out 5.

Don't have time for that? Working out with 5 sets per exercise, add a 6th set.

aura seems to have taken your advice to an absurd extreme.

If I had to do more than 5 sets of squats I would kill myself.

In before all these workout every day to get more rippt types discover that you can work out twice a day six days per week. Gonna be dozens of Lu Xiaojun-like physiques in here within 12 months, no doubt.

That was the kind of thing I actually considered doing when I started trying to get swole 12 years ago by reading the Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding. Some things I didn't consider?

Spoiler:
Lower body exercises

Well I just got home and found my place ransacked.

Stolen:

my old computer (this is already a nightmare to figure out what they have access to, they drained most of the 800 I had in my checking account)

around 500 dollars in money that I collect for their serial numbers

Go pro and other underwater camera

tool set

Having said that, there were some things stashed around that they did not find and and it could have been WAY WAY WAY worse
