I can't stop laughing after this latest one from my girlfriend.

It's a big giant cheeseburger with a beef patty, with three strips of bacon, 3 giant onion rings, some cheese, and wait get this. A fried macaroni and cheese patty is on there too.

It was pretty tasty too. But I just got kicked out of the diner. I can't stop laughing. She said it's not her fault, she didn't know it was that big. Ignorance as defense. I heard that one before from YTF. Too funny.

Trolling your lady and not getting in trouble is a skill that you evidently have not yet mastered

Guys I need some help figuring out some calories for 2 beers I had tonight.

Here are the descriptions of each from the bar's website (they brew their own):

Quackenbush Blonde:
Quote:
Our Quackenbush Blonde is a traditional German-Style Kolsch. Originally developed in Cologne, Kolsch is a cold-fermentad ale light in body and with a slightly fruity aroma and minimal hop character. Our Blonde is delightfully refreshing. 4.9% ABV
and

Kick-Ass Brown:
Quote:
In the 18th century, British brown ales were brewed to a variety of strengths, with gravities ranging from around 1.060º to 1.090º. These beers died out around 1800 as brewers moved away from using brown malt as a base. Pale malt, being cheaper because of its higher yield, was used as a base for all beers, including Porter and Stout.
The term “brown ale” was revived at the end of the 19th century when London brewer Mann introduced a beer with that name. However, the style only became widely-brewed in the 1920s. The brown ales of this period were considerably stronger than most modern English versions. In 1926, Manns Brown Ale had a gravity of 1.043º and an ABV of around 4%. Whitbread Double Brown was even stronger, 1.054º and more than 5% ABV. The introduction of these beers coincided with a big increase in demand for bottled beer in the UK.
1 pint / 16 oz of each. Newcastle is probably similar to the 2nd one which is also probably the more calorically dense one, and is 140 cals / 12 oz which is 187 cals / 16 oz. I'm thinking I'll log 200 + 180 or something?

The ongoing saga of Loco's lady friend coming to America is A+. Too bad it will likely end in either morbid obesity or bulimia

What is up with the big bottles of beer I'm seeing at BevMo that have wine-like prices?

Ain't nobody want to pay $12 for a ****ing bottle of beer.

If it's delicious craft or Belgian beer with wine-like (or greater) ABV, it is well worth it. This isn't Beast Ice or something you'd play beer pong with

ty, I've had really good feedback on my first batch. Kind of worried this second batch will regress to the mean and be complete ****.

Maybe you already know this but if you look up a beer on ratebeer.com there will be a calorie-estimate (based on 12 oz) for it. Think it's quite reliable, and a time saver.
