Do silicone spatulas feel like bags of sand?
04-08-2013 , 12:36 PM
They feel quite firm and natural imo

That's sick though that you signed up. I'll be curious to follow. What made you choose him?
I chose him cause I started reading his log and he seems super knowledgeable and very technical with his programming.

Brb going to go feel up some spatulas at Target...

Arrgggggghh. I think I ****ed up my left foot. I work on the heavy punching bag every time I go to the gym. I hit the bag at the wrong angle way too hard on a spinning side kick. Normally I'm fine the next day, but two days later and it hurts to press on the top of my foot. Hoping it's just a bruise.

Take it from me, it's super embarrassing to be escorted from a Target for inserting a spatula rectally.

So, I was a little concerned about my 409ng testosterone reading from the last time I had bloodwork done in December of 2011. I took some stuff you guys said and also found this page which shed a lot of light on the issue as well.

I think my play right now is to get tested again and see where I'm at so I'm going to do one of those labcorp tests that they list. When I got bloodwork 15 months ago my Dr. charged me for taking blood and charged me to review the info with him. The results of my bloodwork were so good in every other area that he was asking ME how I eat and exercise. When I asked him about the T score he said it was average and left it at that. So yeah, most doctors probably suck in that area and finding a good one is going to be hard. Online results here we go!

Confirmed.

Lunch was a huge success nevertheless.

I have a silicone oven mitt. Doesn't feel as good as the natural ones, but I mostly care about how it performs in the kitchen, so whatever.

Minor crosspost from my log, but since a bunch of you guys are into the NBA:

I won my fantasy NBA league for the 4th time in 5 years (and the one year I didn't win I barely lost in the finals), fighting through the loss of 5 games due to injury this past week (thanks Chandler Parsons and Kahwi) to beat the guy who came in first in the regular season by 20 games. I managed to survive season ending injuries to Varejao and Rondo, and essentially remade my team from a PG dominated assist/steal machine to a FG/REB/BLK oriented one in mid stream. I've got some good late round keepers for next year: Vucevic in the 12th, West in the 10th, and either Kahwi in the 8th or Hill in the 9th.

Running ridiculously hot in fantasy sports playoffs feels good, but it has to end sometime; I was pretty clearly the third best team (at best) going into the playoffs, and managed to squeak out 5-4 wins both time (and won total points by 2 in the finals when Lillard missed a layup at the buzzer last night).

We may have an opening or two next year, and Weasel played this year, so if any of you guys may have some interest, let me know.

My dad is going on a 600 cal/day low-protein diet.

Def interested after getting my first year of fantasy under my belt.

I shoulda been in the finals but was riddled with injuries, esp over the last month.

On the last day of the semi finals, All I had to do was fade Ryan Anderson hitting 5 threes (even if he did I had plenty of other ways to win) but he hit exactly 5 and my guys all did nothing.

I hit my right foot with a 16lb sledgehammer yesterday. Albeit lightly. Felt bad man.

He is about to start working out again and is about to get really serious. This time he means it. Right after vacation.

my dad did that once. his doctor gave him some packaged shakes, 3 per day and he was to eat no other food. primary shake ingredient: sugar. height of nutritional science there.

He lost tons of weight, including all his muscle over 3 months, then immediately gained it all back once he started eating food again, except without the muscle. he now weighs 190lb at 5'2" and 72 years old, and looks like a fire hydrant that was run over by a ****wagon.

I had hope for my dad when I gave him scientific references to read regarding his statins, he did and stopped taking them.

I lent him the Venuto book and he "keeps meaning to read it." At least he hasn't returned it unread (yet). Baby steps.

Did you go to medical school? No? Then who are you to question their medical expertise? Perhaps amplify's father is about to see a massive increase in muscle that would seem inexplicable to us n00bz but par for the course for medical experts.

Cliffs: Swinging a heavy sledgehammer is hard. Ok, like the 50th swing was hard, at least. It was just a glancing blow because I started getting lazy. It was fine. It's sore today, but no bones broken thank god.

I had to remove some old 12"x12" x (?) deep concrete piers/footings from my yard. I won. The concrete lost.
