I have nothing else to add but it's important to know who they were looking at and what they were looking for.

E.g. Statins don't help in primary prevention of ihd but do as secondary prevention.
Oh yeah. Phatony, my dad went armed with that science-based statin review to his internal med doc to explain why he wasn't taking them for the past months. Naturally he left convinced by the doc that he should take statins... gg science.

You should probably add this fact to your online dating profile.

We all hate the internet.

never mention the internet in front of your doctor, learned that the hard way.

Worse has got to be those "Ask your doctor if Laudanum is right for you!" ads which don't ever tell you what the medicine is for.

BTW: Laudanum is a mixture of gin and opium (and I guarantee it is right for you).

when using these kind of straps with a rubber striping on one side, is that rubber supposed to grip around the bar, or against the palm of your hands?

Just took my first 4 pills. I'm weird in that I basically never burp but fart more than most. Prolly gonna get fish farts...will post video.

the bar

I heard that if a a drug commercial doesn't explain what it is or what it does, they don't have to explain the side effects.

Just put a bunch of ambiguous imagery, manipulative music, and the drug name, profit

Cinnamon rice pilaf. That place looks like it actually makes an effort. Where is it?

Re: motorcycles

I read no reply but everybody is wrong. Go to motorcycle.net and read the beginner forums. If you have "road rage" you will live a very short life, plain and simple. If you don't ATGATT you are doing it seriously wrong and should just stick to driving.

Riding is a very serious thing and should not be decided on a whim.

fwiw my first bike was a 38hp V-Star 650 and it was so fast it gave me butterflies. My third bike was 165hp and I destroyed a Murcielago up to ~130mph in Scottsdale on it. That thing was so fast the first time I rode it my knees were shaking when I got off and I couldn't stand. They don't make slow motorcycles, not a one. I've ridden just about everything out there, they are ALL fast. A Ninja 250 is on par with a pre-refresh Mustang GT(350hp or so)

Start slow and ride for a long time before "upgrading." And don't ever listen to anyone who says the phrase "outgrow a 250"

..Didn't read any response from anyone fwiw, someone hopefully covered this.

I've used it both ways. It needs to grip the bar. It's ****ing attached to your wrist and your palm is already much rougher than the bar.

i know. that is why this meta-analysis is particularly damning for the argument for fish oils. If it doesn't have any positive impact in people with the greatest risk factors for cvd, it sure as hell isn't likely to do much for a healthy 25 year old (other than give them stinky burps of course).

I'm next coming through without the family in tow in June. You play on tues now? I thought it was Monday Friday Sunday and Sunday was the buy in to the biggest stack? Sounds like the game is thriving though. I've heard about it over here.

It's ok if you also drive on the wrong side of the car.

Your conclusion does not logically follow from the study you have cited. For example, it could be that people with more advanced disease have too much damage to be helped by omega 3 supplementation, while it could prevent healthy people from developing more advanced disease.

I'm not saying the above is true. But it seems odd that you would make the claim that you did without the mountain of evidence that you seem to require of other medical claims.

Ah cool I'm glad you've heard of it. We were playing it every monday like clockwork. A few (bigger) players were complaining about the buy in so we added monthly game (3rd sunday of every month) where you can buy into the max stack. Then we added in every tuesday. More people complained about the buy in, so now it's buy in up to 1/2 the max every time the game is going.

I've heard rumors of a PLO8 game theyre gonna try to do on wednesdays but I can't play on wednesdays and there's like 1% chance of any omaha games going without me there to be the glue.

Others:

I'm excited about my 60 minutes of weights+ 60 minutes of ball every day M-F. My Heart rate monitor was taken in the burglary (-_-) so I ordered a new one, any guess on how many calories that'll be every day on average?

ALL OF THE CALORIES!!!!

I know people aren't believing that I'm good at dieting but:

I'm (conservatively) estimating 1200 calories burned today and if that's the case I still have 1k calories left to consume. I am working on some beer right now, but that's only gonna take care of 400 or so of it. I'll have to dig around and find something to eat but I'm not hungry at all and I'm exhausted.

:/
