Definitely, I mean even though it's minimal, there's a nonzero chance they bust these guys for something else and find all your stuff still sitting untouched in their apartment or something. You don't want to be in the position of saying "hey guys, if you found a big Samsung TV there, that was mine too, I just didn't bother telling you about it" and sounding like a scamming douche.

i think it actually is a zero chance. cops won't even search someone's house if you have a tracking device on your imac or iphone showing the location of the thief, what makes you think they would spend more than 5 calories tracking down the owner a bunch of stolen electronics?

but like JF said he's gotta do it for the renters insurance so it's a null point
04-20-2013 , 09:21 AM
Non-zero. Close to zero, but non-zero.
04-20-2013 , 09:32 AM
really? you can picture a cop showing up in a truck with all of JF's stuff in the bed, walking up to the door and going "hey JF! we found all your stuff!"

it's an impossibility. i don't want to get into a philosophical debate about zero probability just trust me on this one brahs.
04-20-2013 , 09:44 AM
But this is the perfect chance to nit it up over whether JF has a greater chance of getting hit by lightning than getting his stuff back.

This just happened with a buddy's fishing gear. Cops said hey we found it, DA says he doesn't need it for evidence, come get it.

Chance is nonzero, but small. I live in suburban Redding fwiw.

Wow really? Do you know if this is true in all states? Seems totally ridiculous to me that this could happen.

Also, I wonder what happens if you track it down and steal it back?

JF: I'm really glad you're getting out and moving into a new place.

Bros, this is Shasta County. It's like Mayberry and Andy and Barney Fife are on the job.

Plus tweekers are stupid and get caught doing stupid **** all the time.

If you want a real life cops reality show that features Redding heavily, check out Wild Justice on Nat. Geo. Yup, Andy and Barney.

Srs q:

My dress shirts are starting to get tight in the chest and shoulders but loose everywhere else. Are there brands or a particular style I should be looking for? My body has never been composed quite like this.

Am I looking at tailored shirts now?
04-20-2013 , 12:40 PM
you could try out different slim fits, brooks brothers/polo make decent ones. obv cant go wrong with getting them tailored.

Yep, I'm basically forced to tailor-shirt now. I think it's like +$10 per shirt or something around here.

I don't know what these bros are up to now: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...e-athletic-man

Really like Neiman's trim-fit shirts. They're really long and trim. The last button is lower than usual, so the shirt sort of hugs your hips. Would look really dumb if you didn't tuck it in, but makes a nice trim look that won't puff out.

I agree completely. I think she's very attractive, and maybe even hot to some degree, but for some reason I just don't love her. on House of cards she may be my least favorite character as well

Some good suggestions already I'm sure. I really like the Banana Republic slim fit non-iron dress shirts. I own like 7 and can't get enough of them. Regular price is a lot cuz it's BR but they have great sales every so often so I normally pick them up for around 35-50. They also have an even thinner line than slim fit...I've never tried it but it's called like very slim fit or something along those lines. possibly worth trying.

Tailored shirts are the nuts. I get mine fully made to my body for $60 a pop. Get to choose the fabric, design, fit, and have a cool little custom logo in a subtle place that adds personality without being too loud.

Double bonus I can wear my shirts tucked or untucked
