Good morning, Health and Fitness!

It's finally time for me to make a recorded, visible effort at achieving my fitness goals. Over the years I've had a huge struggle with my weight and I'm ready to take the steps needed to accomplish this mission. I'm ready to improve my workout routine, which at the moment has been a spotty 3-5 lifts per week with no cardio due to having 9 classes this semester (Pharm.D student), but it's gonna be summer! All aboard the gain train.

GOAL WEIGHT
200lbs is the endgame @ 12%BF (or less, I'm not picky).

CURRENT WEIGHT (5/4/2018)
176lbs @ 11%BF last time I checked in August

BEGINNING WEIGHT
145lbs in fall 2015 @ 14%BF

I'll make a separate post later about my regular lift routines and what my diet is like. Gonna go do legs right now because our lectures were canceled! Vamoooooo

Thank you for posting a picture of me, lol59!

Somewhere between 6'0" and 6'1", I have a minor curvature in my lower spine to boot (~35 degrees or something).

Today's workout consisted of:
Squat: bar warmup, 95x1x12, 115x1x12, 135x1x12, 155x1x10, 175x1x10, 185x2x8 and then my right knee was annoyed
Leg press: 285x1x12, 375x1x12, 465x1x12, 555x1x12, 645x1x12
LegExtension: 100x1x12, 130x1x12, 160x1x12, 175x1x12
Leg Curl: 70x1x12, 90x1x12, 110x2x12
Good girl/bad girl: 110x1x12, 130x1x12, 150x1x12, 170x1x12, 190x1x12
Calves: A set of some silly exercise per set of squats and leg press, so whatever that adds up to

Basically I need to throw some straight-leg deads and just deads in general into the mix but I'm just. So. Not. Interested.

Meals come later!

Breakfast today was pathetic. A doughnut and a banana. 400 calories or so.

Lunch, though, was LIT.

Lasagna ~300 calories, 20 grams protein
Soy milk, 16 oz, ~ 250 calories, 16 grams protein
Protein powder, ~240 calories, 54 grams protein
Salami, half pound, probably ~600 calories, no idea what the fat content is though
Another donut, ~300 calories

Dinner
Strawberry smoothie with 2% milk, ~200 calories, 8 grams protein
Two quarter pound hamburgers (no cheese, small bun) ~500 calories, 16 grams protein
Cup of Java Chip ice cream, ~300 calories, not willing to check the label though

Basically I need about 1k more before the end of the day.

Good luck AF! How are you determining your bf? You might as well start your H&F journey with people arguing about your actual bf percentage and methods used for coming to this

The soy protein and (presumably) laughably incorrect logging technique should suffice for now.

One of those hokey body comp machines at Life Time, obviously! And then I sneak over to see if theirs agrees with the college's machine, and then I wonder why I care

Are you telling me that packaging labels are incorrect and I've been lied to? ****, my whole life just got flipped, turned upside down!

Also the soy milk is because I like the taste, and the protein is Cytosport from Costco because I'm cheap.

AF,

Sets x reps x weight

Or

Weight x reps x sets

When you log something like 175x1x12, what I suspect you mean is not what you're communicating. The number of reps always goes next to the weight.

Is that some sort of ice cream for poors? Try eating a real ice cream

Food labels may not always be accurate, but they're generally precise. Obviously the more of your own food you cook the less you have to worry about it.

Baked a pound and a half of bacon in the oven. Ate half.
Four pieces of cinnamon bread turned french toast.
Three crepes.

Starting the day off right.

I'm confused AF. Is this thread just about you getting fatter? Is it just that?

I can help with that.

Step 1: Go to KFC.

Only if there are onions involved!

About to have a lil lift, then a lil nap, then back to studying for finals. Before that though let us indulge in a lil treat or two: more ice cream.

Veract, you have always added much enjoyment to my 2p2 experience, thank you for your contributions!

Today we did not achieve our feeding goals.

Lunch:
Chicken skewers (2)
Medium avocado
Unsalted tortilla chips
Ginger ale

Dinner:
A sleeve of Thinmints
Much greek yogurt with honey
Rice cakes with peanut butter (I don't really know why either, don't ask me)

WE NEED MORE POWER.
