I waited for two reasons. Really wanted to travel a lot and I knew a kid or two would make that impossible. Also, I just wanted to be more stable financially and career wise. Ended up being a great call on both counts.

I do agree that a single year doesn't make a ton of difference if you don't have a coherent plan. Our general plan was to defer from late 20s to mid 30s and we did have a specific things we wanted to do. There's definitely some luck involved. I know people who wait until they're older and then different issues arise. In my case, at least so far, things seemed like they worked out.

Has enzymes but I only noticed when going back on the ON I was farting more. None of the, "this is making me absorb more protein"...stuff. But then it's not like I'm measuring the nitrogen content of my urine or anything.

And it's just possible less farting is reason enough!
1) Muscle Milk tastes soooo good
2) I prefer ON chocolate with water instead of milk (i love milk). Does this make me weird?

I’m 27 and wife 25 in a month. (Took me a little longer to finish school after transferring from euro college and losing credits). So took a low paying job for a year and got great experience. Basically broke even.

Now we moved both got way better jobs. Income more than doubled with small increase in cost of living. We still live fairly cheaply and are pretty far in the green each month. With us both working we will more than save up to pay off student loans and down payment on a house by next fall. However once we have kids we’d both like her to stay at home with them til they’re in elementary or so. We can live and save off my income.

Also have a few things we’d like to do. Planning a 2-3 weeks trip back overseas in June. My wife has never been (or left the country) so will be cool to go and show her where I spent a lot of time growing up. And I haven’t been back since I moved to US 5-6 years ago.

I passed a BBQ joint yesterday called "Soulman's", who knew you could get to France via East Texas. I couldn't get a picture because we were going 90mph, which was the style at the time.

Little known shortcut! Keep it on the down low though.

My wife's brother is her uncle. We don't talk about it much.

If you pause it right here, you can pinpoint the moment Emoken's heart broke.

Haven't followed him at all lately. SARMS are not that good and he'll keep pimping them. DNP is probably not that great and he'll keep pimping it. He's kind of a scumbag. His snapchat compilations were entertaining, certainly, but he's hardly a good source for PED education.

Just my opinion and no offense intended. If you're going to get married...young <30, wait to have kids. Give your partner a chance to evolve or devolve into what they are going to become post marriage...usually about 5ish years will tell you everything you need to know. Those same years will tell them about you too. Let that happen before you bring kids into the picture.

At the vet with our elderly dog. I don't ask for much but for ****s sake can we please not have my dog die today, on my son's birthday and right before Christmas?

I'm prepared for her to die. She's a 15 year old Labrador, avg life expectancy is 10 to 12 years. She can die next week, just not today.

My son turned 12 today, she's been a fixture in his life since he was born. She sleeps in his room. He learned to walk by leaning on her and chasing her around.

I'm about to write this vet a blank check, I don't care what it takes, just not today.

I have to say, veterinarians are some of the best people there are.

I have yet to meet a miserable vet. Same for people working in the office.

OK. She's in a vet hospital, overnight or maybe longer. Probable kidney failure, which may or may not be temporary. Also probably a GI lesion or tumor or something, which either contributed to or was caused by the kidney problems. We should know soon whether it's (immediately) terminal.

We explained it to the boy, he seems OK. We handled the last dog really badly with him, not on purpose, just kind of happened in the chaos. He did not understand that when we took him to the vet that he was not going to come back. He's older now, though, and also, since she's so old we have been telling him over the last few years how old she is in human terms, and that really at any time she could pass away. So I don't think he's so surprised.

Our remaining dog is so old that I took portraits of her (and her brother) so that we would have nice pictures of them after they died, which I assumed was imminent. That was like 4 *years* ago. Honestly 1 year ago, I thought she'd be dead within a month. *Last* christmas she developed an invasive lipoma, which is like a fatty non-cancerous tumor, which nearly stopped her from being to get around. She went from going on hour long walks to not being able to make it to the mailbox, just sitting her ass down and refusing to get up.

So like I said, it's no shock that she's reached the end of her life. Just, not today.

They called me this morning. While doing an ultrasound for her kidneys, they found cancer on the kidneys, liver and I think adrenal glands. They gave her weeks to live, if not days. We opted to have her put to sleep. My wife and son were both there and we got to be with her for about an hour before hand.

This one was hard for me. Our previous dog, Oscar, got old and one day he laid down and never lifted his head again. It wasn't easy to experience, but it was a very easy experience. He was Done. Peaches I have worried about for months because she has so much trouble getting around, but is very happy and sweet all the time. When we came to see her at the hospital she was so excited to see us.

We all agreed that we didn't want to put her through more pain just to get a few more weeks. It's actually somewhat likely the surgery for cancer would have killed her.

She made it to 15, not a lot of labradors do that.

Here she is a few days ago with us at my Dad's.

We don't deserve dogs, but we get to have them anyway. The only downside is how much we outlive them.
