So do your coaches have any idea what you are theoretically capable of raw? Like is 1500 realistic in ~2-3 years or is there just no way unless you get saw-fat?
Theoretically? No. I mean, no one knows what is theoretically possible. 680kg/1500lbs seems doable, but 2-3 years might be short. Realistically I need a lot more lbm for that, and it may be impossible for me to acquire it. I'd have to take nutrition much more seriously for a start.
Disgusted as usual by the #s in this log, there's a reason why I avoid it
I don't mind seeing Aidan's progress but I'd like to be able to browse logs without finding out a 14 year girl crushes my lifts. I thought when I said "I lift like a 14 yo girl" I was making a joke
Does that girl's lift count? They put some sort of pudding can on her chest to decrease the ROM further. Then advertised the pudding at the end like that had anything to do with her lift.

Reason: of course that chicks lift wouldnt count in a meet, i just wanted a reason to post that pic
What you want to do with your feet when you set up is walk each foot out individually a little while keeping the other in place. Get them out as far as you can. When you do this right, there will be no possible way for your butt to come up off the bench - your hips will be stretched to their limits and it will be very uncomfortable. You're not doing that and that's why your butt comes up when you try to use leg drive. When you fix this leak, you have a lot more in you.
cha speaks truth. Imo a great way to immediately test the difference without taxing yourself is to do 70% for a 3 count and test out how different it feels when you position your feet differently.

You could even try this out with just the bar for singles. Your hips will not feel good, but that is what you want if you want to be your best at benching.
