Yeah, I have found that as an adult in my early 30s it is pretty impossible to play sports and stick to a strict lifting schedule, because I pretty much always hurt myself whenever I try to play sports.
When I was a kid I used to watch sports and wonder, why are those guys getting injured so much, they only play 1-4 times a week (depending on the sport).
Now I watch sports and I am like, how can those guys get out of bed the next day after doing that (and the answer is normally copious amounts of painkillers).
