Two miles stones in one day, yay. We are officially 2/3rds through this challenge, and are now in the 200 teens. Was looking forward to getting out of the 20's and thought for sure the last LB would possibly elude me for a while, thinking this continued downward trend would stall at sometime, but nope, woke up this morning, and saw a massive 2.2 LB drop, and are now well into the teens, quite pumped.
Since we are at 60 days, and practically at the end of September, I might as well give my thoughts and updates on how its going.
Very happy with my continued progress in losing weight. Of all of my attempted dieting over the past couple years, this is the first time I have had back to back almost 10 lb loss months. It was quite easy to drop 10+ lbs the first month for me with all the water weight, but I always was stagnant the second on, which killed my motivation a lot of the time, made me lazy about continuing to measure everything, not swinging by some fast food place when I was out, justifying to myself that I deserved this and would make up for it later. Or splurging over the weekend when out to dinner with friends, or at a party/get together.
Disappointed in myself that I haven't been going to the gym or getting as much cardio in as I would like, but I lost almost 10lbs this month with very minimal exercise, in the very short term this is working for me. Besides being hungry a couple times at night, I haven't really minded eating such a low amount of calories. I have made the mistake of watching those epic cheat meal/day videos on youtube. I sit there thinking "why am I watching people eat all this delicious unhealthy food on a monday, when my cheat meal isn't for another 5 or 6 days, why am I torturing myself?" I would like to get into the routine of getting up and just going for a walk in the morning and getting in some fasted
cardio, but I am not a morning person. lol
I am only 3.7lbs away from my soft target weight of 215, which I would be quite happy with, 27lbs in 90 days is quite good, but I want more. So I will contine doing what I am doing for the next week or so and on the 8th of October I will decide whether I want to really push the last 3 weeks.
Thanks for reading, only 30 more days!
