Pretty sick king kong performance for a 40+y/o that only weighs 190.

LOL at the queerfitters critiquing his form even though it blows away the form exhibited by any regular crossfitter in the history of youtube. If he just did this w/o a shirt and got some gay tribal tattoo I am sure they would be all over his nuts.

that dude is incredible, i mean his muscle ups were funny, but who cares its not like most crossfitters are doing non kipping ones themselves.

Yea no doubt. I just dont understand the mentality of crossfiters that inspires them to irrationally critique anyone that is not part of their cult especially when they litter youtube with a bunch of videos that display LOL form and ROM.

Is wearing weightlifting shoes during low-bar squats a good idea? I see the guys on the 70sbig website doing it all the time but then again their squats are usually far from perfect. I tried squatting in chucks and barefoot a few times and found my running shoes, which have a little bit of heel but are still compressible, made it way easier to get depth without any spinal rounding. I'm going to invest in a cheap pair of weightlifting shoes in 6 weeks anyway when I switch gyms and move the focus of my programming to the olympic lifts. I'm still going to train the low bar squat though, which is the main reason I'm wondering, Olympic shoes for low bar squats, y/n?

Only thing I noticed in the King Kong video was that he didn't seem to be standing up all the way on his cleans, but its still better form overall than most crossfitters and with actual weight.

Do you have to do a full clean in King Kong b/c he could clearly just powerclean it, that was pretty impressive. 44yr old dude ups the weights and craps all over CF's poster boy.

Yeah, as Rx'd, King Kong requires full squat cleans. But whatever, power cleans require more strength, so I would imagine that it should be fine. I like that he added weight to the DL and Clean and still crushed. Sure his MU's are funny, but who cares?

Muscle Ups are a ****ing **** way of discerning strength. They're lol skill work. Anything a prepubscent girl can be world class at is going to be a ****ty indicator of fitness (jump roping/gymnastics/etc).

I think the whole idea of riding cleans down is completely ******ed. Just say you have to power clean it and then front squat it if that is the goal. Otherwise you're just creating a way for someone who isn't really very strong to get an advantage over people who are... Or people who can pull not that hard when they want.

Whit! ppl where laughing at his form. Sexual clean form imo. Odd MU for sure but he probably could MU normally if he wanted too, he's obv strong as ****.

Also screw caffeine withdrawl headaches. Went from 10/15+ coffees per day to 1 maybe 2 today. I is no hapee.

Anyone want to comment on what I plan on doing? I will try this on a "cut." Probably eating more than maintenance on MWF and be on a deficit the other days, unless I feel the need to eat more.

Monday-
531 press + one set of heavy military or push press...
531squat.... 3-5 sprints

Wednesday-
531 bench + one or two heavy one board sets..
squat warmups.. 1-3 sprints

Friday-
531 front squats...
531 deficit deadlifts (going to only do prescribed reps)
some sorta generic metcon or 2-4 sprints

I should also add that my cardio/conditioning has been non existent for a while now. I also been doing many squat sessions recently and feel my legs can handle the volume here.

I found out that the two stud left handed pitchers that joined my rec team this year are not actually college players as I had previously thought. They both played processionally :O One supposedly as high as AA ball

How pissed should I be that the closet Burger King has no drive-thru? The closest Wendys and Taco Bell don't have drive-thrus either. And then the closest McDonalds is in Irvington which is not a pleasant area.

I didn't even realize that BKs with no drive thru even existed (aside from ones that are in food courts or something.)
