Here are some good squat form fails IMO. The woman who posted it was just as bad (after this guy was bragging about her squatting 245 for 5, I HAD to see that... I figured i was either going to be really turned on or I would see something like this, sadly it was the latter).

In his defense, the dude has lost a TON of weight. But... I just can't believe how you can post squat videos like this and not get crazy flamed.
wtf was that. I've seen some quarter squats in my day but christ, the 405 is just incredible.

Yeah, I was tempted to comment in the woman's thread and be like, "that's not even a squat, what you should say is, 'I unracked 245 today.'"

It just pains me that everyone over there just fawns over the amount of weight lifted, not this atrocity of a lift.

But glad I could bring some entertainment to the forum that gets me through my days @ the office

lol that's the kind of chick who thinks her bf is way stronger/tougher/more badass than he actually is, and will most likely at some point in time, get his ass kicked or worse.

I don't think he's looking at the ceiling enough.

Those videos make me feel nitty about trying to improve my form. But now I'll probably just suck even more and say "at least it's not as bad as those one guys"

You guys need to check out Kiwi Berries. They are like mini kiwi's with no peeling of the skin and they are the size of grapes.

they are the best fruit of all.

Sam's sells them sometimes so do places like whole foods.

Apparently this is Cristiano Ronaldo's weight training routine:

Quote:
During a full weight training session Ronaldo will lift in excess of 20 tonnes. This is equivalent to some common mechanical load.
Calculation
Total weight lifted during a training session based on 6 reps x 4 sets of:
Squat 150 kgs x 4 x 6 = 3,600 kgs
Bench Press 100 kgs = 2,400 kgs
Clean 75 kgs = 1,800 kgs
Leg Press 200 kgs = 4,800 kgs
Dead Leg 200 kgs = 4,800 kgs
Shoulder Press 70 kgs = 1,680 kgs
Arm Curl 30 kgs = 720 kgs
Tricep Curl 20 kgs = 480 kgs
Pull up 75 kgs = 1,800 kgs
Bench Dip 75 kgs = 1,800 kgs
Bridge x 5 75 kgs = 375 kgs
Total kgs lifted = 24,355 kgs
Audi Q7 (4x4) curb weight 2,400 kgs x 10 = 24,090 kgs (approximate)
wth is dead leg cause he sure as **** isn't deadlifting 200x6x4. Squat 150x6x4, lol.
03-26-2010 , 08:18 PM
i have no difficulty believing he can squat that at all. . . are you implying that is weaker than it should be?

Hmm well I would guess he is a superb athlete and I hear at Real Madrid the sport science is very advanced although probably not much in terms of weight lifting protocols. THose numbers don't seem absurdly high to me considering his athletic ability but I have to admit would be surprised if his squats were below parallel.

Not sure, I would be surprised but not overly so if they were legit parallel squats. Simply because he is an iberian brosef extraordinaire and a footballer where knowledge of weight lifting is a tad behind the times. He is a sick athlete though. Hard to tell.
03-26-2010 , 08:51 PM
lol at cristiano ronaldo squatting anywhere near 330 for 4 sets of 6 in anything that resembles what we call a squat.
03-26-2010 , 09:01 PM
If I had to bet money I would definitely bet on them being half squats.
03-26-2010 , 09:09 PM
Squatting must be good for improving your dives.

Broth from a box/can isn't really food. Broth made from actual animal carcasses can be pretty hearty and I would consider it food.

wat?
03-26-2010 , 09:45 PM
Does it have calories? Yes? Then its a food. No? Then it isn't.

IMO.
