Where I go to school, tights and NOTHING else for the lower body is extremely standard. I've always wondered if it's like this in other areas. Tights and short skirt makes sense to me... and I'm not complaining, but wtffff. I've been able to see blatant outlines of vag before, and this is not a rarity.

Americans talking about fashion is way, way, way more LOL.

Also wtf at tights and nothing else? You mean leggings or something right?

College girls here generally wear tight jeans and those plimsole type things around campus. At night its short skirts and heels with tights in winter. Little dresses with high heels and bare legs more in summer.

Do you mean 90s between sets of each ladder? That's what I meant, not between each individual rep. Miles' link seems to suggest 1, 2 and 3 breaths between "sets" in the ladder, which seems pretty stupid to me and would make it the same as 3x6 basically.

read again imo.

Other ways to use the ladder:

Bodyweight calisthenics are ideal for the use of a strength-endurance ladder. The most frequently recommended way of using a ladder is with a training partner in a “I go, you go” format. This becomes very competitive. Another variation is the breathing ladder. Do a rep, take a breath, do two reps, take 2 breathes, do three reps, take three breathes....keep adding reps and breathes until you can't add any more. This gets surprisingly hard with stuff like kettlebell swings and even bodyweight squats.
he is definitely not suggesting this breathing pattern for heavy compound lifts.

I was just out and about most of the day and saw quite a few hotties around town. They were all dressed pretty much the same. Short shorts, spaghetti strap shirts and giant sunglasses.

I enjoyed it.

I see something similar sometimes, but they always wear a long shirt with it which basically makes it a tights+skirt look again.

I did 1 rep 90s 2 reps 90s 3 reps 90s 1 rep 90s etc though you could probably just do 1 rep 30s 2 reps 60s 3 reps 90s 1 rep etc to save a bit of time. The breathing between reps was something else as miles pointed out a few posts above mine.

Saturdays are my new favourite day of the week. Two whole hours of sparring. Getting punched in the face is a massive "learning experience" but there's something so primally satisfying when a 1-2-3 comes off or you slip a punch and get a counter in.

I wish I'd done this ten years ago.

It has little to do with not being able to assimilate more than a certain amount of protein in one meal. I can remember being told in my teens that I could not assimilate more than 30g at a shot. I also know what has happened since I started consuming 500 grams on a normal day. The notion that the human body does not adapt to increased protein consumption in order to be able to process more at a sitting is silly in my opinion, and inconsistent with the highly adaptive nature of the human organism.

The reason for spreading the protein out evenly is that we, as humans, do not store protein. We store carbohydrates (as glycogen), and we have an almost endless capacity to store fat, but we do not store protein.

Since we require protein, it is important to provide a steady stream of it throughout the day. If the body needs proteins (amino acids) that it does not have on hand, it will attack its stored amino acids (muscle tissue) to get what it needs. This is obviously not what we want.

I use an analogy in explaining this that we need to eat the muscle tissue of other animals (steak, chicken breast, etc.) or our body will eat our own muscle. Remember, we are engineered to survive, and our bodies take that job very seriously. So we need to provide the raw materials, or our bodies will harvest them from places that we do not want.
thoughts on this? as thremp will quickly point out, my reading comprehension is lacking at times, but it seems he is saying if we dont get a steady stream of protein our body will start breaking down muscle.

There is initial research that indicates this is true, especially in dieters. It helps to prevent muscle wasting.

Thremp corrected me last week about that, said a downside to IF is not spreading out protein, or something like that.

Re: **8*8*8 March version Two(2) ***88***8

Yeah. But his application of this is like me saying that I'm going to get cliche wasted to improve my insulin sensitivity. I'm not having one beer and I'm not a type 2 diabetic.

And that is just **** dumb. I can eat a giant vat of lentils (which btw is like colon cleanse 10129913021039129312, it is a matter of time before I clog the meager toilet here) and get more amino acids floating in my bloodstream without eating anything ded.

Like taking something that is true in some instances and then applying it to everyone is always gonna be lol.

ETA: Keep in mind that stuff doesn't always 100% lead to other stuff. Like high levels of amino acids in the bloodstream =/= huge ****ING MSUCLE BRAH. So while its "science"... Its like waxy maize style science.
