So is that like a naturals competition or is he competing with guys juicing? Seems completely futile if the latter. (As well as the former come to think of it.)

oic. Yeah whatever. He was a bodybuilder some time in the past. We all have regrets.

I hate those lists. Too bad. It was a great concept.

plz bash my TM programming, haven't started yet so you can still stop me from being ******ed. Trolling Miles log I see there was talk about not enough pulling or explosive movements. I'm trying to figure something out for Recovery, wrong day to add some heavy explosive movement maybe? Where would you add weighted chins/pull-ups here?

Volume
5x5 Squats
5x5 Bench/press
Hang Cleans (5x3? 3x3? singles?)

Recovery
2x5 Squat
3x3 Bench/Press
???? Rows, DB Snatch, KB swing, idk gimme something

Intensity
1x5 Squat
1x5 BP/Press
DL (5rm? speed DL? 3x1?)

Pretty excited to get this started

Just punt it on Monday. Go Bulgaian on Tues. Go in Wed and do recovery. Intensity Friday ldo.

if you're like me you'll have a hell of a time with the program you just laid out. when you do 5x5 squats every week, deadlifting doesn't really fit well anywhere, let alone power cleans, rows and chins.

Mendes is ****ing enormous, broz stopped posting videos lately, one of his kids had a mediocre showing at junior nationals. The kid with the jerk from blocks I believe.

eta: Also, the kid he shows with a double bw clean was doing that like 6 months ago in HS, stumbled across vid of it on youtube.

You just have low WIM.

I assume I'll need to tinker with the squat volume and I'm sure I'll figure out pretty quickly how much is too much. I really just want to make sure it's not a horribly unbalanced program. I figure I'll be doing accessory shoulder work that I've been doing for some time now, face pulls, wall slides, cable rows, band work, etc...

Thought some more about this, imo the best approach doing SS on a small surplus would be to simply scale back workouts to twice a week to ensure proper recovery. Once the squats got heavier recovering simply wouldn't be an option on a very small surplus.

Or maybe I'm extrapolating from my semi-old self, I'm totally crushed right now after yesterday's workout even if I only did light squats :/

My Biggest Loser competition diet WIM is in full gear. I'm down 10 lbs since starting on the 12th. Nothing like money to motivate a person.
