I used to rollerblade a lot from like 1st-5th grade and I went ice skating a couple years ago and I freakin' kicked ass. Skatin backwards all that stuff. Lots of carryover for the two, imo.

I'm not worried about getting hit. It's the other guys. Boarding isn't even the real problem - getting hit in the open ice is absurdly dangerous if you are lol unskilled.
I can skate pretty well, but it's been awhile. I'd definitely like to see how strength training has carried over. My agility and puck handling skills are probably lolololololol at this point, though. Not that they were ever good in the first place, though.
