I went with ZERO carbs from Friday the 9th though today. I weighed 185 today which is the target. I want to try to stay between 180 & 185 as opposed to between 190 & 195. Today has been a carb orgy with Father's Day. One of my daughters got me a salt bagel w/cream cheese for breakfast (I only ate half) and my other daughter made me a German Chocolate Cheesecake (restaurant quality!) which I had for dessert after lunch at a BBQ place. I'll have some carbs this week (I have to finish the cheesecake ) but I'll try to keep it manageable.

I was on a down week for DL's but we'll see this week if losing weight and limiting carbs will result in less strength. I felt a little drained yesterday and curls were a struggle.

Turned 67 on Wednesday. All things considered I can't complain. My left shoulder is shot but it doesn't stop me from doing my routine. I can't do overhead stuff or rows though which is annoying. I still haven't had a doc look at it which is on me. I will at some point. I think I just don't want to hear that surgery is the solution. Onward.

I seem to be going backwards on DL's. I always wonder at what point my body is going to say: 'you're too old for this ****' and just shut me down.
