Ok time to do this for real. I've lurked H&F for a while and figure the support system here can only help my cause, so I am starting a Thread of Accountability.

As youz may or may not know, I did a Fat-Off with MLY and cracked 200 and was in some pretty good shape, but across the next couple years slowly gave all my gains back. So between YTF, a couple other people I know, and my first HBP after being 120/80 my entire life, I am cracking the **** down.

To put it simply, I plan to lose at a rapid rate, but also stay healthy. I'll get into more details and hopefully get input from here, but I am going in realizing this takes WIM and often sets yourself up for failure, but I think I up for it. Last time with MLY I was fully engrossed on a daily basis, and plan to start that up on a consistent basis again. Beer is also a big leak for me, so I am on no weekday beer regimen as of now, and don't plan to be going crazy on weekends either.

Diet: The plan is high protein, low carb, low sugar. Knocking out sugar and ytf breads as much as possible. Already started with coffee and first log has no breads. I make a lot of good food on the regular and just plan to cut out all the bad stuff I can. I've also made a few of Monte's recipes he's given to MLY over the years. Any advice welcome. I make stuff like this:

Including cheat meals...

But then back on the horse...

So good food will not be a problem. Use EVOO and butter in moderation for most items.

The plan for breakfast and lunch is a lot of hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese. Thankfully I love both. I have a friend that supplies me dozens of farm eggs too, which are even better for you. Weighed out a cup of cottage cheese today and it was 225g and 240 cals and packed with protein. I just ate this right out of the measuring cup today because I give zero ****s and my fat is in trouble. Here is my inaugural re-start from today:

Breakfast

Lunch

Dinner

And drank 50oz of cold water so far. If I have a snack tonight, it will be two hard boiled eggs with hot sauce.

Logging: I plan to log religiously and honestly. Here is today so far:

This is a kick ass day so far to me, because the fact is I am stuffed right now from all the water and WAY under for my 1730 day.

Exercise: I've downloaded 300 Body Weight Circuit Workouts and will begin doing them. Any advice welcome.

So that is where I am right now and feeling pretty pumped. Any and all advice appreciated LFG.

Looks good. Keep the food palatability low early on and focus on higher volume, high fiber foods.

Side note, I can never justify the cost of scallops. You getting those fresh or frozen?

Funny you say that, I am the same. I buy them on sale at Whole Foods for like $16.99/lb(reg 24.99) and also have a farm near me where a fish guy comes every Tuesday and I but ~6-7 very, very fresh ones for $12. Never buy full price.

27,

Good luck! I like your idea of increasing the TEF of the hot dogs by increasing condiment size/digestion requirements.

He used gigantic pieces of onion on his hot dogs - it was a callback to when he posted the same picture in OOT a week or so ago.

Carry on.

They're not gigantic, just diced and unseparated.

An even more ******ed explanation than at first glance.

Btw, you can do it OP.

I got motivated a couple months ago when my # had crept back up. I've focused on eating twice a day. Working so far but I could ramp up the intensity.

Scallops are a major advantage of UK diving. There are some restrictions - you cannot take them from certain locations, and they need to be adults.

But it still means you can get completely fresh scallops at the end of a decent weekend.

27 - the food looks nice. You should lose weight quickly on 1,730 a day. I found my BP responded really well to weight loss. It was 140/90 3 months ago: it is now 110/75.

Food looks awesome.

Try plain yogurt instead of sour cream on a baked potato - it tastes almost exactly the same. I have been using really spicy bbq sauce on my baked potatos for a condiment because I am trying to do a "no diary, no bread" month.

Thanks, I'll try that some time.

One of my late-night calorie bomb leaks over the years has been Lays potato chips dipped directly into a tub of sour cream. Times 20.
