IIRC, Dana said in the post fight that he thinks this fight outsold MayMac in the PPV numbers for Canada

A lot of talk about this being the best version of GSP. Is this version really better than the BJ Penn II GSP?

Definitely most interesting version, not a previous super-safe decisionator (or he just didn't have a choice).

Greatest card ever. **** cody and **** bisping.

The Rose win reminded me of the 1st time TJ won the belt. Even though it was long odds Rose was catching her with big shots the whole fight. It wasn't just one lucky punch.

The only chance I though Rose had was catching JJ in some flying submission attempt she's pulled off before.

yup JJ was losing the standup somehow for the couple minutes in

If we can find who bet on rose to ko jj in first round we ll have a definite proof time travel exist.

The whole fight as in the first 2 minutes of a 5 round bout? lol
She landed 15 total strikes and a 3rd of those came once JJ hit the mat

I think people are way over thinking the fight based on the outcome.
JJ got caught by Rose. Rose stuck to her game plan and her range obv wasn't something JJ was able to handle well in the 1st round. This wasn't TJ vs Barao. It was more Rockhold vs Bisping 2.

You are correct. They only had a few exchanges but she knocked her down twice. If you don’t think this is significant you’re crazy, especially at 115.

When Rose knocked her out I stared going into a “speed beats power, timing beats speed” rant in my terrible Conor impression.

Can't even describe how good it feels after like 2 years of everyone I like losing their big fights, to see Cody & Bisping get their **** pushed in.

MM vs TJ will be sick, sounds like TJ wants it at FLW, but Dana will make it at BW. If MM wins that, easy GOAT.

TJ vs Cruz is 50/50 imo, as is TJ vs Cody. Though wouldn't surprise me if TJ pulls away because he's got more weapons and a WAY better camp than Cody, and Cruz has a ton of miles on his body.

Already been taken off, and likely the action of a single sketchy programmer. Still though.

proof of the ability to time travel? one needn't look any further than trump's twitter feed back when obama was president

Almost nothing happens in the first minute other than JJ clearly having some issues dealing with Rose's range and elusiveness as her punches come up short over and over again as Rose backs out of each attack. JJ responds by charging forward to land. in the second minute when they exchange in the pocket JJ has more success.

The first knockdown happens when JJ is off balance and is leaning back on one foot near the cage. Doesn't appear to be significant.

JJ easily gets back up which was surprising.

The second knockdown is a clean left straight to the jaw which drops JJ at around 2:01.

Rose lands an almost identical left about 15 seconds before hand at 2:15 but it lands high and JJ appears to shrug it off. In both instances, JJ is basically just standing flat footed when Rose steps forward from out of range and reaches with the left and connects.

Not saying Rose isn't legit and didn't have a good game plan. I just don't see how this is in anyway comparable to TJ vs Barao other than it being a shocking upset.

he was born for that role, sir

Physically he's got it down but wouldn't they rather cast someone who knows how to act and has basic fighting ability?
11-07-2017 , 08:41 AM
MMA fan will hate a non fighter actor, while normal public rather have one.

Looking forward to Sage's Russian accent.

Also, those betting odds have broken my brain. I can't make sense of them.
