Almost nothing happens in the first minute other than JJ clearly having some issues dealing with Rose's range and elusiveness as her punches come up short over and over again as Rose backs out of each attack. JJ responds by charging forward to land. in the second minute when they exchange in the pocket JJ has more success.
The first knockdown happens when JJ is off balance and is leaning back on one foot near the cage. Doesn't appear to be significant.
JJ easily gets back up which was surprising.
The second knockdown is a clean left straight to the jaw which drops JJ at around 2:01.
Rose lands an almost identical left about 15 seconds before hand at 2:15 but it lands high and JJ appears to shrug it off. In both instances, JJ is basically just standing flat footed when Rose steps forward from out of range and reaches with the left and connects.
Not saying Rose isn't legit and didn't have a good game plan. I just don't see how this is in anyway comparable to TJ vs Barao other than it being a shocking upset.
