i'm on to my 3rd verson of my prototype MMA scorecard that's more than just a table to write 10s and 9s in.
you can download it
here, if you are very generous with your time, print it out and try using it and tell me if it's even useful.
i'm not sure exactly how it should be used, or if a scorecard is even useful for helping judge a fight. it might be a waste of time. has anyone else created a MMA scorecard?
right now, i need to develop a system of shorthand to mark moments during the fight.
for example, mark an X if someone gets knocked down.
mark a W if someone gets wobbled.
mark a T if someone gets taken down
shade in a block to indicate that fighter is "winning" that portion of time by inflicting more damage.
i have no idea. let me know if you think of something. really not sure if a scorecard is even useful for MMA. the first two versions were a horizontal time-line, and it was too weird. perhaps the top-down will be easier to use.
