Lol mike perry. Dude's standup is garbage for being a former boxer. Dumbass loudmouth redneck

Some great fights and finishes, think its time for rda to get a title shot

Much respect to robbie for never quitting and being a true HOF'er

Crazy to think how different things might have been the last couple years had that version of RDA shown up to fight Conor or Eddie.

Agree 100%, but also kinda sad. Gotta think Robbie’s gonna be really messed up pretty young after all the damage he has taken.

yea it pains me for sure, dude has been around forever and is like, my age. always willing to throw down and war. i wish the best to him in not being a vegetable by age 50 and not having issues with medical coverage along the way, but i'm not optimistic. rough industry to be a legend in.

calm down there hombre, i just like to play the odds. there was a study released that fighters who actively smell their opponent during weigh-ins win 54% of the time

I'm happy that RDA won. I wasn't too keen on the thought of Robbie Lawler getting knocked out by Woodley again.
12-17-2017 , 09:55 PM
Watching RDA is just beautiful.

God I hope he doesn't get KO'd by Woodley and pulls it off, seems like a tough match up though. His insane aggressive definitely opens itself up to a huge Woodley right hand, and Woodley TDD is obv just too good as is his clinch game.

Though if RDA can avoid the counter right hand I think his pace will break Woodley.

makes me think el cucuy is the toughest mf on the planet
12-18-2017 , 12:49 AM
I'm still kind of bitter about that fight. RDA was doing great until the eye poke in the 2nd round, after which momentum completely changed and El Cucuy put a beating on him while he was half blind. I'd love to see a rematch one day, though doesn't look likely sadly.

Seeing RDA at better form again really makes me hate the weight cutting allowance. We are watching everyone fight at diminished capacity because they spend themselves dehydrating to near death to gain or guard an edge that has nothing to do with ability. And that's beside the terrible health concerns. So much worse than peds for the sport.

RDA just got hit dead on by Alvarez and still almost survived it. Him vs Cucuy was vvvv close, maybe w/ RDA winning until the eye poke. I think people underrate him because of those losses, but he has always been great. That said, I think Woodley has to be the worst possible matchup for him. I think he could potentially outpoint Woodley, but it's semi-unlikely he doesn't get ko'ed before then.

anyone can beat woodley as long as they don't get punched in the head

Should be noted RDA passed out from the weight cut the night before the Alvarez fight. Was apparently out cold for like 2 minutes.
