Re: Whisky

The Weller was the cheapest bottle of the bunch, $43 + tax.
I haven't opened the Knob Creek yet. I have heard pretty good things about the 12 yr. old, which is moderately priced. I am guessing the 15 yr (and Parker's) is overpriced, but I like to splurge on really limited releases.

I don't really enjoy rye or the rye taste and I find Maker's sort of 'smooth' and very drinkable due to its absence. Any other decent wheated bourbons out there from the big brands? Maybe I should try some Maker's 46.
Larceny is probably the most common, and a really good value bourbon. I believe Wyoming Whiskey is also wheated, but I haven't tried that yet.

Yeah give Larceny a go itís under $30 so youíre not taking a big risk.

I like the Makers Mark private selections or RC6.

I prefer this over the standard Weller products like Special Reserve/Antique and 12 year. Itís more expensive but Iím guessing much easier to find and actually much cheaper than what idiots are paying for Weller on the secondary market.
