I think a MMA match would look like the UFC 1(?) match where the boxer was only wearing one glown and was instructed to tap the second he got taken down.

People just strawman left and right.
You are mistaken. I think he has a very small chance of even landing a clean shot, you think he has a very small chance to win. Do u see the difference?

Carry on....

Yes I see the difference, you could've clarified that at the time that I asked you to.

Keep on being smug. I'm now rooting for Conor just bc of how much it would dismay the boxing aficionados.

They're totally difference sports that aren't worthy of comparisons tho, which is why Ray Mercer never had a shot against Sylvia.

This is an interesting question. Rogan who I generally respect agrees with you. I am not so sure.

Ray Mercer data-point again: Kimbo took him down and finished him. We've all seen what Couture did to Toney.

Conor also took down Max Holloway at will. Took Siver down also.

Wrestling and sub defense is considerably more foreign to Floyd than boxing is to Conor. Subs also end fights fast.

75% of my meager roll so far and now that Conor has talked this back to -500, I may put the rest on.

The only reason I'm not betting everything I have is because LOLBOXING. I've seen too much shadiness.

Most posters in this thread would win a fight against Mayweather in MMA.

Interested in how your doubts leave it qualified. Like mayweather has more chance than thought, equal to Conor's now or more? Also what I am not considering, cuz currently I can't even devils advocate the idea.

Conors odds of beating Floyd in MMA>Floyd's odds of beating Conor in boxing.

Also, 99.99%>99.98%

Lemos looked pretty dangerous. I think she wins if Leslie isn't the toughest woman alive.

In boxing, Conor is fighting Floyd at a discipline that Conor has trained in his entire life (albeit at a lower level, mixed in with the rest of MMA and with an MMA slant to his style/approach).

In MMA, Floyd would be taking Conor on at a whole bunch of disciplines he will have essentially zero experience in bar the boxing aspect.

Can't see how Conor's chances in the ring aren't far higher than Floyd's chances in the Octagon.
