I used to laugh when, before they had Embedded, the youtube channel in the lead up to cards would follow him around while he talked with people and did ****. This fat **** was so arrogant he actually thought people who watched the UFC would prefer to see his bloated face instead of having access to the fighters!

Does anyone know how Dana White is always in Novak Djokovic's player box at Wimbledon? Odd.

07-12-2017 , 08:03 AM
Dana is a great UFC promoter. Promoting fighters has always been secondary. I think the fighter problem right now is that Lorenzo used to be there to keep Dana in check, and provide the "respect" side of fighter relations. Plenty of fighters talked about really getting along with the Fertita brothers, and they helped smooth things over during contract negotiations (Weidman is probably the last example).

WME likely doesn't give a **** about your feelings, and doesn't have a personal interest in the sport like Lorenzo did, so there's nothing counterbalancing Dana's temper tantrums.

The post-presser presser (yeah...) between Floyd Sr. and Conor was fun tho

I hope connor manage to get Floyd to accept a rematch with mma rules during a press conference.

Also, remember Dana now has around 200million in the bank. He doesn't give a &$%$
07-12-2017 , 02:26 PM
I fully expect to be disappointed by the fight. I did not expect to be disappointed by the pressers. Hope they pull it together because at this point I hate everyone and everything. I have never been less interested in mma.

This reddit post on the press conference was amusing. Especially this bit:

OT Gensis performed 'Cut It' and 'I'm In Love With The Coco'. Really ****ing bizarre, and when the DJ would mute his microphone for the crowd to sing it was absolute silence.

Ok this is great. Even Mayweathers crew was laughing. Now for Conor to do this to Dana...

Watched highlights the Toronto one seemed way better than LA

must be a very stiff penalty built in for one fighter touching the other one outside of the ring. conor definitely would have knocked the hat off of floyd by now.

yes, i was thinking same thing after first conference. ain't nobody touching nobody pre fight.

Conor already got his hand slapped playing that game.

Remember his whole "I'll never fight in Vegas again" debacle?

That was pretty entertaining last night. Timed it perfectly too as I went online an hour later expecting it all to be over and I could just catch up, but as it happened I came just as Drake was done introducing them.

It got pretty tense when Floyd got hold of the Irish flag and Conor threatened to **** him up on stage if he did anything. Not sure what Floyd was thinking of doing but after Conor threatened him he seemed to rethink and backtrack from whatever it was.

Not saying that Floyd was actually scared of Conor, I think it was more Floyd actually believing Conor was crazy enough to do something that may get them both fined or put the fight in jeopardy or even incite a riot so he thought better of it and just handed it over to Conor.

Conor getting in the face of that Showtime exec calling him a ****ing weasel had me laughing so hard. Also loved the crowd booing his speech again. I wonder if they are still going to keep following the same format? In London the crowd is going to be completely insane.

I hope to find a billion dollars on my porch when I get home.

CM is a great hype man. Play on, playa!

He did it so enjoy your million, the rematch in the octogon will never happens but floyd still took the bait.
07-13-2017 , 10:55 AM
The bait is Floyd entertaining the idea, and it's for us. It's just another thing Floyd is saying to get people interested in this first (and only) match-up.
07-13-2017 , 12:25 PM
My general impression is Floyd is absolutely loving this whole excursion and Conor. He finally has someone doing mass hype work to make him shiploads of cash for what is likely the easiest fight of his career.
07-13-2017 , 12:32 PM
Agreed. Floyd's always been the hype, this time he gets someone who will actually hang with him. It's basically all just a comedy he gets paid millions of dollars to enact.
07-13-2017 , 01:26 PM
Yeah, we're basically watching a celebrity roast. Conor is getting some burns and the crowd is laughing, but Floyd has already made it, he's not worried about this. He just gets to sit back and enjoy the show and laugh along too.
07-13-2017 , 01:37 PM
The second one was better, but it's still an awkward format. They both are hanging in there admirably, but honestly it's like a freestyle rap battle without any rhyming.
07-13-2017 , 02:31 PM
Yeah, showtime is doing a poor job at production. The UFC did a way better job on the Aldo mac tour
07-13-2017 , 03:25 PM
Sheep,

Floyd is just too small! His little legs, his little core, his little head, and his brittle hands can't handle Conor's size and power.
07-13-2017 , 03:45 PM
seemed like floyd was genuinely smiling and laughing at the latest roast battle. conor is also being very restrained on his attacks. he could be much more brutal and viscous. as long as floyd wins, i think they will come out of this as friends IRL and probably business partners too. floyd needs to manage his money better, investing in conor after his UFC contract is probably a great way to do it!
07-13-2017 , 03:47 PM
Augie,

Floyd has beaten a bunch of weak, slow bums and has never been in a real fight. Mystic Mac has never been wrong. Floyd is KO'd within four rounds.
