For Rx glasses I think I am going to go Oakley. They have a shop around here that fills orders for them, and I'll probably head over in a couple weeks or so. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
My glasses help the most when I'm driving, so I feel like I really should get some Rx shades.
I only have one pair of sunglasses, as I need the prescription, and haven't learned to use contacts. Couldn't find a picture on the internet, but might post a photo of the actualy pair if I can bother. Wayfarers with prescription would be cool.
I've tried a few different sunglasses working as a rafting guide, but the best ones by far are Arnette, nothing else comes close for durability and eye protection. Plus they look awesome. My favorite would be Arnette Raven, in a nice white colour.
As for everyday sunnies, lately I've been going with Carrera Jocker for that cool 70's look.
i like my new kahuna's a real lot, but i have a big head and they are a little tight on me. im thinking about returning / exchanging for something similar.
suggestions?
Every time I put on my old MJ Sports, I remember why I wore them so much, so comfortable.
My RayBan Aviators, are pretty meh. They always seem to be falling off my face.
Try any of the Mosley Tribe/Oliver Peoples products. They have some great aviator type styles with very lightweight comfortable frames. I think the lens quality is at least at the Maui Jim level.
i was umpiring a little league game last weekend, and i found some arnette havoc sunglasses.
the lenses are pretty scraped, and im gonna get them replaced probably if i can find somewhere to do it.
You can get these lenses replaced by calling the manufacturer, Luxottica at their service center if they still carry the replacement lenses. Cost is usually around $40. 1-888-458-9393.

theres a place in town who can put prescription lenses in for me. either 175$ for polarized lenses, or 90$ for non-polarized ones. do you guys think its worth the extra money for the polarized ones? i tend to think that it is, considering i go fishing sometimes and i tend to play alot of sports.
