Re that stuff about Till - dammit. **** that guy. I mean, I'm a Brit so I was pulling for him before I knew, but **** that guy.

GGG decision was a robbery, again. **** those crooks.

Lol boxing fans, always and forever

Lol JBJ...snitches get stiches...or an interim title fight at MSG.

Either USADA is just a complete fraud (likely) or he must have given up something good to get a 30 month reduction in his sentence. Machida only got a 4 month reduction off his original 2 year ban.

Is it possible that JJ could have sued considering how inconsequential the "violation" was and how much it would have impacted him financially if they had gone as hard that they did for some people like Machida?
They found a substance that was easy to detect and the amount made no sense to cheat(likely part of a stack that they didn't have any way to prove)

That press conference was a dumpster fire. Conor's lost all creativity when it comes to **** talking, and the lack of crowd just gave the whole thing a weird vibe.

So, are any of the fights from this weekend’s card worth watching?

I caught the main and was glad I did. 2-3 other solid highlights made the front page of Reddit.

Really weird how 90% of fights were Brazilian vs American (or Canadian)
09-26-2018 , 11:13 AM
... it was in Brazil.

Lil Nog vs Smilin' Sam was a facsimile of Big Nog v Shaub, including the odds. This guy had a few bucks on Lil Nog via KO at +1425.
09-26-2018 , 11:46 AM
lil nog KO was +1425? wtf, if you got anything down at that price then kudos to you bro, impressive

sam alvey doesnt have like a notorious iron chin or anything afaik and didn't lil nog train with or join the brazilian olympic boxing team?
09-27-2018 , 10:38 AM
The prop was, ya. He was +300, like Schaub was.

Exact same situation. Guy sent in to KO them (with their shot chins), which also doubled as the most favorable match-up they could give them in Brazil. Alvey does have a strong chin, he's been stopped before (Brunson put it on him) - but he's never been out.

I figured Alvey was going to KO him too (but I saw this as a conceivable outcome), so: 'fight not finishing' was my larger wager.

Sapp was definitely tired but he looked like he had enough i the tank to finish it if he wanted to.

Yeah that fight seemed silly from the beginning. About what you'd expect with a top 5 MW vs a WW.

Pico's body shots look so nasty.

I really don't see how conor can pull this off. dude looks unstoppable.

Have you seen this fight? That's how. If Khabib leaves Conor in space anything like he did here with Michael Johnson in the 1st two rounds he could very well get KO'd. Where Johnson wobbled Kabib 2 minutes into this fight Conor would surely have KO'd Khabib. Khabib better get his mitts on him and fast. Once there he almost certainly wins but until then the fight is tilted in the opposite direction, I would argue, almost to the same degree.

I'll check it out, ty.
And I just have this feeling this is another money grab for Conor while his opponent seems really in his prime. Obviously I don't know much about him other than the highlights thy showed these past few weeks, but still.
