Not sure why Pennington's corner didn't throw in the towel. She said she was done, she was probably down 4-0, her nose was busted, her leg was beaten to ****, Amanda wasn't getting tired, and Pennington had virtually no way to finish the fight.

Dern (the one who missed weight) is huge in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world. Her father, Wellington "Megaton" Dias is considered a legend in the sport. Plus she's attractive, so she's getting a push.

Anyone see any of the Bellator card last night? Aaron Pico is a monster and I hope he ends up in the UFC whenever his contract is finished. He got his second liver shot TKO last night.

I think it’s part marketing stunt, part crazy, and a tiny bit actual accent. She does speak very fluent Portuguese.

Last week I watched maybe a couple UFC embedded, and I thought she was competing at 125 there was not a second in my head where I thought it was even possible she was competing at 115 looking at her compared to what I remembered of rose or Joanna's looks. It's unbelievable that no one in her team saw that coming.

I guess she lives in California and was training in Arizona but wasn’t actually doing any training. That explains why her striking looks so bad. You never hear a head coach ask a fighter to leave, she must be pretty bad if they are passing on her earnings and notoriety.

Not a good look to get the knock down by throwing all your extra weight into a sloppy overhand right.
