I was spending alot of money on sneaks for a while but haven't bought anything in a long time. Only things really notable that I have are 2 pair of retro 6's and pair of the Skunk SB dunks. Numerous pairs of AF1's around too.

I don't really care for many J's aside from a few of the early ones. The 6's are def my favorites since I had a pair of original infrareds back in 6th grade. Unfortunately I scooped 2 pairs of the retro 6's in varsity red before they released the infrared combo.

I was big on AF1's for a while. The white/white lows will never go out of style. I dig me some Air Max 90's too.

do the more expensive sneakers make a significant difference in your sneaking skills versus the cheaper ones? Like how many steps closer can you get to someone before they notice, if you are wearing a $200 pair versus a $100 pair?

^Haha yeah, frankly I'm in the same boat as you are, starting my collection this year as well. I'm sure calling myself a sneakerhead would be an insult to actual sneakerheads, but no one made the thread yet so I took it upon myself to do so

Bred 4s are nice. I wanted to get a pair, but I already got a pair of Cav 4s earlier this year so I'm going to get the Bred 11s instead. I already have a pair of Concords, but the colorway is much different, as opposed to comparing the Bred and Cav 4s.

Funny-ish story. I'm always late for my 12:30 MW class, and last Monday I woke up early for the sole purpose of not being late again. So it's 11:00 and I'm on fb, and this one fb page I liked that shows sales and promotions for various brands showed that Nike had some promotion going on. I just HAD to jump on that, so I did at the cost of being late for class again lol. The shoe retails for $105, got it for $83 + tax, shipping was free. I wanted to get the Zoom Rookie Blacks but they were sold out.

I wanna get into Uptowns but it seems like they only go with fitted jeans, and mine are more on the loose/baggier side. I was interested in the AF1 Foamposite Pewters but no one else seems to like em lol.

I've just recently started to read 2p2 again and found this thread. I have been buying a ton of sneakers lately and mostly just like the originality and simplicity of the Nike SB Dunks. All the ones I buy are highs or mids and for some reason I don't really get into the lows.

With regard to basketball shoes, I am not really a fan of the galaxies or foamposites for some reason. I do obviously like 5 or 6 of the early Jordan releases but never have the time to wait in line nor the money to pay 300+ a pair on flightclub.

The sites I frequent that I haven't seen yet itt are www.thepremierstore.com and www.complex.com/sneakers. Complex adds 15-20 sneaker posts everyday that are usually pretty on point and Premier is just a skate apparel shop really. They frequently have good deals on dunks if those are your thing.

I will post some of my newest buys when I have more time.
