I see Schaub is touting it as a fake. smh. A Japanese promotion with a Japanese fighter would never fake an ending like that, ever. Mayweather gave McGregor time because it was his promotion. This time Mayweather was a hired gun, so he took the money as quick as possible. He looked easily 2 or more weight classes heavier than Tenshin who seemed overwhelmed by the power and range. It also seemed like he never even saw the punches that did the most damage. Floyd did not **** around.

It was so obviously fake. Watch the fight a few times and tell me it isn’t fake. Not to mention Floyd who controls all the variables in all his fights and always fights in Vegas would fight kickboxing in Japan? This just isn’t logical.

plz explain why japan would take their undefeated 'next big thing' and rig it so he loses inside 2 mins and bursts into tears on a NYE PPV

if you watch it again it looks like floyd came out willing to **** around and do a proper exhibition for 9 minutes. in one of the early exchanges floyd realises tenshin is really trying (and he lands one), and then floyd seems to snap and just walk him down repeatedly and destroy him.

Why is Anderson Silva taking this fight against a killer?

I became a fan of the UFC after seeing Anderson defeat Stephan Bonnar in Oct 2012. I got to see a great victory against Derek Brunson since then. We have never seen the Spider ko'd besides the Weidman fight.

Is he still talented enough to possibly not get murk'ed?

he's taking this fight because fighters are irrationally confident and the ufc promised him a title shot with a win. the ufc is making this fight to springboard adesanya to a title shot they very much want with bobby knuckles. and honeslty if anderson somehow shocks izzy they could prob sell an anderson title fight, too.

and no, he will get murked almost assuredly imo. he's 44 in april!!!

Adesanya v Silva is five rounds, right? If it was three I guess you make a case for both being cautious and the fight going the distance - then who knows. Maybe even that's optimistic though for Silva. Over five rounds though I can't see any way he wins barring getting very lucky (<20% for me).

I've been bearish on Anderson Silva for his last six fights but +460 against someone Martin Vettori (?) took to a SD < 10 months ago? Someone with a untested ground game?
