I don't have to believe anything. Some commission decide who can fight and who cannot and I'll enjoy the fight.

Can’t you just take supplement A and a steroid and say the supplement was contaminated ?
You have to show the contaminated batch you took.
Now they can game the system by looking for contaminated batchs to start juicing with same product but it's a fair trade-off not to punish innocent people.

How do you know though? Like soon do the results come in ?

They just need to track some batch numbers in case they test positive then usada will look for and test those batchs.
It's already kinda the process without restricted lists and immunity

I listened to the Rogan interview and watched the embedded ep and also read the studies that reference both CDMT (DHCMT) and clomiphene (which mentions pulsing and the possibility of positive results following negative results.) The studies muddy the waters a bit, as I am not familiar with either phenomenon and I prescribe clomiphene citrate to patients. It’s a bit beyond the scope of this discussion but the cliff notes are that even if the studies referenced were good (they’re not) JJ’s results are still nothing like has ever been seen before in terms of the time frame involved.

It’s still much more likely that things like lab error, sampling error, recording error, sample labeling error, or any one of a million other human errors are behind the bizarre results rather than some new physiologic theory. If I were working on a research study involving the testing of samples and two samples came out backwards (like a positive following a negative in urine samples where that shouldn’t be possible) i would assume the samples were accidentally switched or mislabeled. Then if I couldn’t figure out how that happened I would repeat the testing. The study on clomiphene “pulsing” neither considers alternative explanations nor tries to recreate the findings on repeat testing.

So none of this information changes my mind... though I mean sure I guess all of it is kind of maybe hypothetically possible. But still this idea that a chemical can be both so lipophilic as to be exclusively sequestered outside of the serum compartment, AND for some reason release into the serum in pulses instead of continuously (like everything else in nature when compatmentalized within a membrane) seems nutty.

Lastly, even if all of the pulsing/sequestering/alternating sample positivity stuff were true, JJs results are still positive hundreds of days longer than anything ever reported anywhere. Combining this with the fact that he has cheated before on numerous occasions means that he’s probably cheating. And by probably I mean it’s so likely that he shouldn’t be allowed to fight if other fighters aren’t allowed to when they are positive.

Do the twenty-five UFC 232 fighters not named Jon Jones have a winnable "class action lawsuit" for costs & loss of earnings (California has income tax, Nevada doesn't)?

i love how first the UFC is like he tested clean 8 times and this abnormality happened last minute on this recent test.

then a week later they are like actually he popped in 3 or 4 tests with this abnormality but he was clean in the other ones, sorry we forgot to mention that.

Really all it comes down to is WME/UFC needs to hit a certain # for 2018. They need the PPV JBJ will bring so f the fans, fighters, fairness and lets just make sure we get our nut. Sucks for all those fans who booked **** months ahead of times.

I can't wait for all the chaos that will occur in the UFC/media with the bright spotlight that being on ESPN in 2019 will bring about.

lol dick pills...that was a step up from Mir's kangaroo meat. Got to give credit to JBJ's management team for figuring out that one.

Popped for something? Just go to a gas station, grab all the shady over counter energey/dick/mood enhancer supplements and find one with a similar roid you popped for.

JBJ is such a psycho but also likely the GOAT.

Isn't Jones still in some jeopardy with Nevada? They can suspend him forever over this.

I really think Gus missed his chance to get a psychological advantage on Jones. He should be pushing the narrative that after he beats Jones he’ll be just another fighter and get banned by Nevada for life.

Who's that famous guy they showed for a few seconds waving at the cam just now? Know him from somewhere.

everything about the way the ufc organisation, dana and jon have behaved this week is utterly reprehensible. i wish the absolute worst on the pair of them.

That was pretty amusing. One of my favorite fight moments of the year: As Tenshin was doing his walkout to music I can only describe as belonging over the end credits of a movie like Blood Sport or Kickboxer the commentator says “Some call him a wizard because of the wizardry he does”.

Spoiler:
Dad bod Floyd knocked Tenshin down 3x within the first minute and his corner threw in the towel.

rofl that mayweather "boxing" fight.

Literally like punching his little 13 year old brother, must suck to have been a Tenshin fan and paid for seats...

I wonder how far Floyd could have strayed into mixed rules and still won? I think he 100% wins MMA gloves/elbows/clinches don’t get broken, no takedowns, no kicks. I think he would have had a damn good chance with full MMA striking, no takedowns. Every punch he landed staggered Tenshin badly. He left a lot of money on the table here. So few people wanted to buy this boxing match, they didn’t even bother trying to sell it.

Notorious on Netflix is worth a watch. It’s a bit scattershot, but some great old footage of Conor pre-UFC and the behind the scenes stuff from the Aldo fight is great.

He’s obviously a very interesting guy/competitor and it’s cool to see what makes him tick.
