I think Costa should fight for the title next. Rockhold would have been KOed in the first if he was hit with the shots that either fighter absorbed.
I think Diaz can beat Masvidal though it's a great fight.

It just looks so weird that anyone can get knocked out and go limp, bounce your head on concrete, and wake up straight away.

A lot of people blaming Rob for the loss. Did he really look that bad or did Izzy just make him look that bad by taking away all his weapons? I think it's both but mainly Izzy looking good.

Agreed. I think of lot of it was due to Issy, though Rob seemed to struggle to get into range, which makes me think that the reach difference was a problem for him. He also got dropped easier than I expected, but that was probably due to Issy's precision and timing.

I think Izzy utilized his reach in a way that required Rob's blitz to work. The blitz was largely ineffective in part because Rob was now one dimensional and he didn't seem to change to plan B or switch things up much or give Izzy anything else to worry about. I guess being a little slow and not being able to deal with the pressure and fluidly change plans in the octagon could be attributed to ring rust.
