If you are Conor, isn't forcing their hand and getting stripped by the UFC the best move? With Conor the belt is pretty meaningless.

Lots of free PR without having to fight, creates an enemy for him to play off of in the UFC, and sets him up for mega fight vs Khabib for belt in Russia, GSP, or RDA/Woodley.

His best move is to obviously wait for GSP. That said, being worth 100 million, gotta weigh risk vs reward for another 20-30 million. Eating GSP elbows for a few rounds can't be good for his brain, though maybe GSP is nice and submits him in the first round.

honestly his best move is probably to retire. He took a good amount of damage in the nate/mayweather fights. GSP/Khabib/Tony are for sure going to smesh his brain up, with the exception of maybe an early TKO on Tony.

That said, most fighters can't retire even if they made a ton of money. It is part of who they are, they love the adrenaline and lights etc.
