It is also almost never used. And certainly not in active rounds. (probably more likely when there is little to no action)
08-21-2016 , 12:52 AM
Seems like no action would be an 8-8 round
08-21-2016 , 12:54 AM
you're an 8-8 round bro

Could only happen due to point deductions b/c it's a 10-point must system, but otherwise I could see a judge like Cecil Peoples saying **** it and scoring a round 7-3 or something random.

8-8 rounds to yo dome. stockton peace

Rogan was saying Diaz said he had a really rough camp, seems pretty plausible to me. He missed a lot of punches when Diaz was exhausted, no 1-2 whatsoever.

Why did Conor gets so tired after 7 minutes w/o getting hit & w/o throwing at high volume?

WHERES THE PRESS CONFERENCE MOTHER****ERS

3rd fight doesn't even seem worth it from McGregor's perspective. He can fight smaller guys for slightly less massive paydays and those fights have been way easier than the wars with Diaz, and imagine if he fights an actual elite LW or WW. Dude can probably also make millions after his UFC days through lots of different avenues.

Agree completely here. Conor's strat in the first was perfect, and he took no damage. If there was a 10-8 that was the round. Interesting to see the judges cards nearly identical though with the exception being the 10-8. Usually one judge has it all messed up.

Throws bombs and Diaz won't stay down combo is my guess.

Don't they always have some excuse though? They have also never actually lost a decision in their lives.
Even when his corner threw in the towel in his fights against Josh T he didn't really admit defeat.

Other thread saying presser is cancelled? WTF!

Crazy right? Who knows? His pace was perfect. Thought he was just gonna do that for a few rounds just to put the beatdown on Nate, and then boom! Guy falls off a cliff. I was convinced in the first fight it was because he got tagged. He must have that Erick Silva gas tank.

presser was cancelled ~9 hours ago. not sure why.

edit: UFC official tells me decision to scrap post-fight press conference made for "logistical and security purposes.”

So Conor might be toast against Aldo if Aldo can survive 2 rounds?

Although I thought the same this fight and somehow McGOAT won round 4. I wonder how much that had to do with Diaz's horrible training camp b/c I expected him to flurry on McGOAT for the last 2 rounds and he wasn't that active.

What an awesome fight, don't mind seeing the 3rd one, but not next.

Far from certain that Aldo would have much gas left after being pressure for two rounds.

Those punches that knocked Nate down put Aldo to sleep
08-21-2016 , 01:18 AM
that aldo guy weighs like 25 pounds less than Diaz tonight, and is a target with much smaller reach for conor's out-of-range style
08-21-2016 , 01:21 AM
Conors cardio against Aldo and other 145er and a lot of 155ers is a moot point. They would be KO'd inside 2 rounds before he gets to that stage.
