Look at what I started... Man I miss Buenos Aires sometimes. Really need to make it out there soon. I think straate and myself are coming for Creamfields if anyone else is interested in going (it's basically the largest electronic music festival in the world for those that don't know). I think it's sometime in November, but tickets/line-up aren't finalized yet. Also, I'm fairly sure my spanish has turned into a complete joke so this should be interesting.

When is the River/Boca game next? Ah, nevermind it's at Monumental right? Also, I think the Tuesday night dinner thing is a good idea whoever thought of it.

Okay sports fans, we are making a little change with the Tuesday night dinners. To broaden our possibilities, we are going to do RSVPs now, so we can go to places where reservations might be needed. So let's say I will post the new place every Wed and you have til Saturday 9:00 PM to commit. I might have to move that up, but we'll see.

This week we will try Duvall in Soho. Tuesday 9:00 PM.

http://www.guiaoleo.com.ar/detail.php?ID=3392

I will go ahead and assume the following people are coming every week unless told otherwise: Evan, Daniel, Ian, Brant, Clint (?). Everyone else post or PM me.

I woke up this morning and thought I'd thrown away my contact lenses [I've done that before!] but then I realised they were still in. I also failed miserably with that girl I imagine

So my roomate mentioned that some new arrivals might be interested in some Dell 20"s.

I brought them down in my suitcase and they are in good condition. If anyone wants to buy one or both of them it will save me some hastle bringing them back on the plane.

I'll sell them for 420 a piece as that's what it will cost me to replace them back in the US. (I've heard they cost much more in Argentina.)

PM/Call/Say hey at the bar if interested.

Anyone down for going to Dave Matthews on Oct 3rd. Fwiw, Nine Inch Nails and STP are playing on other days, but I am certainly going to Dave. Tickets are 90 pesos. It looks like it is being held out near River Stadium. I will probably be buying them manana or Sat.

Yeah I've done it a couple of times. Takes a good while, like up a month if I remember. Shipping is also pretty expensive, so it makes sense to order a lot.

No import tax.

My experience was that it is the absolute worst. It takes a while, in addition, they don't just deliver the package to your door. They come by and give you a letter that says you have a package waiting for you at the International Mailing place in Retiro. You have to go down there, take a number and wait a long ass time. The 3 times I had to get a package there, I had to wait at least 2 hours. I also remember having to pay them some kind of fee for holding my package. Getting anything sent here is a miserable experience that I try to avoid for the most part.

They deliver to your door if weight / size is less than certain amount.. if you order a lot they will make you go to retiro and all that stuff. Problem is that ordering small amounts is expensive.

Try ordering from www.betterworld.com 2$ per book shipping worlwide, good used books, and you can make small orders that will get directly to you for no aditional cost.

They will charge yu depending on the nature os the items that you order. Book aren`t taxed, but if you order an Ipod they will.

Do you happen to know how much that certain weight or size is or do you know where I could find that info? Thanks for the link, that may come in handy in the future. Do you know of any other sites that have a similar set-up with other forms of media such as CD's, DVD's etc?

Do you explicitly want them to be original, or can they be pirate copies?

Not really. This particular one just has a tournament on Tuesdays to draw in the Americanos.
