It sounds like he may have been enlisting you to jump on the grenade. It also sounds like you didn't think you had much of a chance with the really attractive one. If it's any consolation, the extreme lack of lighting in Crobar makes girls look much better and a 9 can easily drop to an 8 in the morning sun.

went out hard with ozdg3nr8 on his birthday. We end up at crobar at the end of a pubcrawl where I met a really cute half argentine, half cuban who was born in NY and speaks perfect english. Was pretty obvious nothing was going to happen with this chick that night so I make plans to go out with her in the near future. We arrange to meet and have dinner a few days later. As I'm entering the restaurant I make eye contact and smile at a women standing outside before I go in and request a table for two. Turns out this was her and I didn't even recognize her. I never recovered.

Let's try Garden in Recoleta, heard some good things. Next week I think I will start requesting RSVPs so we can go to places where reservations are needed. There just aren't too many places that are big enough and good, but not overly popular. Anyways 9:00 Tuesday.
