Not that huge of a controversy, Rogan needs to chill out. It was incredibly close and if you are going to have the dumb rule in the first place, you have to give the benefit of the doubt for the fighter in order to have fighter safety.

On that last slow mo which seemed like the best angle so far it looked to me like it was actually the knee connecting that brought the hand slightly off the mat, not him lifting him up and then connecting.
