If so, and I hate to say it, but I really feel like Jones had an off night all around and will dominate the rematch. Maybe he lost the hunger with all his nike money.
I won't give a whole lot of clout to Gus's takedown because he kind of caught him off balance but I think Jon only got one takedown and Gus nullified it by getting up before Jon could do anything. Jones was out wrestled the entire match both offensively and defensively which is amazing considering his previous fights vs Evans, Bader, and Cheal where he not only beat them at wrestling but dominated.
I attribute this much more to Gus's size than his actual wrestling prowess. Jones is unable to use his weird leverage and angling on a taller fighter. Maybe I'm grasping at straws here but I think it's not really safe to assume Gus became the best wrestler in LHW over night.
This combined with reach in striking is why I am beginning to doubt jones' chance at HW
