I could never, ever wear a Hublot unless they figure out how to make their screw heads line up. Even Casio gets this right. It's not that hard.

Not like they can't do it, it's a choice.

The huge amount of chinese plastic they use in all their **** is more of a reason to not pay premium prices for their brand name ********.

i actually thought of you saying this a while ago when i was looking at them earlier and i disagree. it brings a sort of uniqueness to each watch that is pretty cool and you don't (at least i haven't) seen in other watches and watch brands. pretty damn nitty to say that you would never wear one because of that.

Damn, now that you've mentioned it, I can't help but look at them! Very distracting once you mention it...although I do like that it does bring some sort of uniqueness for each watch. For me it still looks too much like an AP ROO for me to ever get one.

To the haters: Tons of watch companies produce stuff like this and it isn't limited to trendy brands by any means.

This is a Breguet. Super traditional classic Breguet. There are lots of other companies that produce stuff like this, a lot of it just has to do with not wanting to cover the tourbillon.

Hublot Classic fusion. 42mm super easy to read, priced competitively with Rolex. So take that!
I just bought this exact Hublot in 45mm, love it might post wrist shot if ppl are interested?

Of course it's nitty. Watches are an inherently nitty hobby. It's just a matter of what people get nitty about.

Note the screws on this G-Shock:

Are those for realsy screws or is it like AP where they're not actual screws.

Anyways B&R has the misaligned screws too, it doesn't bother me much on the HBBs but it does for sure on the BellRosses.

Deja vu.

And the screws not lining up doesn't bother me and at least you know they're really screws.

The ROO screws line up and are hex shaped sitting down in a hex socket. How does that work?

They aren't really screws, they're bolts and they put a slot in them for no reason other than aesthetics.

I am pretty sure they are for real. There are cheaper G-Shocks that have screws in similar positions that don't line up. Casio has, though, on occasion used totally fake screws that have no function at all (frogman bezel).

Meh, not a fan. I'm not really a big fan of Steinhart to be honest. I'm going to base almost everything I say based on assumptions that I think are true but I'm definitely not 100% on so please go easy if I'm wrong.

I believe Steinhart is an Asian watch manufacture which is fine because their price mostly reflects that, but they pretend not to be, and most of their watches are homages to way more popular watches. This watch doesn't jump out at me as an homage of anything I can think of, though. Still, you've got an Asian homage company that's using a name like "Steinhart" which is about as Asian as Kim or Lee. I don't even really have a problem with fakes really but this seems even faker than fake.

I've always seen them as kind of an Invicta brand, but most of all, I just think the watch is not very good looking. That said if it's not a lot of money to you, and you like the way it looks, I think it's going to be pretty hard to construct an argument that tells you not to get it. So go for it!

After a quick Google I stumbled across this while googling "Steinhart watches asia"

http://www.thewatchforum.co.uk/index...howtopic=41376

According to this it appears I am wrong. That said jumping on a watch forum and reading a post and assuming it's true is the exact same thing as jumping in to a 2p2 thread having never played poker and reading a thread and concluding that you should raise-fold Kings because KidPoker69420666 said so. There are a lot of people on watch forums who do not know an awful lot about what they own, which is of course fine, it just makes them not the most credible sources for this kind of stuff is all I'm getting at.

I thought it looked pretty decent tho, i am familiar with what you mentioned above, not very attractive attributes obviously.

maurice lacroix tries a lil too hard to be "haughty" imo, while still mixing the higher end stuff with cheap quartz models on the lower end...but here's a SQ model that looks nice if you're into that sort of stuff
