vera had a dislocated cheekbone. apparently he cant move his eye to look right because te bone is out of place. ****ed up.

im pretty sad alves is out, was really looking forward to that fight. dont know if you guys have seen the first fight between them but its almost like fitch got worse since then. he used to fight at a much faster pace and be way more physical. seems like the beastly high octane fitch doesnt come out unless he feels like he needs to give it his all to win a fight, and i dont think he will need to to grind out a 3 round decision vs saunders

this british dude on mma live makes franklin look like a genius. which is not easy.

never mind, franklin just said "people are questioning JDS ground game but he does have a submission over crocop" and i think he was serious and not leveling

its like they dont even watch the sport. bonnar "ive never seen hardy on the ground" never watch the marcus davis fight where hes trying to get his fat leg up to rubber guard?

its like they prepare to go on tv by opening fight finder and gleaning it for a couple minutes lmao

Speaking of MMA live it seems ESPN2 will be having a try out for the show in may. http://mmajunkie.com/news/18453/mma-...ay-ratings.mma Like you said lol at franklin and some other things on that show but i hope it pulls good enough numbers on ESPN2 for it or another MMA news show down the road to get a reg spot.

ill offer you nog at evens if the fight takes place in the next 18 months, 500 to 3k action. just post whatever amount and consider it booked if you want. if not interested, just post an entertaining link

i guess i kinda overestimated his edge down the road (and immediately), i do think nog has an edge now but eventually jones is just going to round out his skills and be too much, and since dana just announced it will be over a year before jones gets a title shot and he wants him to fight 3 more times i think he will probably face a mid level guy or two first no matter what so i think ill bow out of it because by the time they fight i think the odds will worsen considerably as time goes on.

You better not got banned. That little kid is my hero. Whats crazy about jon jones to me is that hes a month younger than I am. Makes me feel like an old man or something or that I'm not doing anything significant with my life.

I wouldn't be too jealous. Not getting punched in the face for a living and having to retire at 35 (if you're lucky) is probably a good thing.

Dana white on Opie and anthony again wednesday

not too much info in the interview, only thing said was that if Mir/Carwin come out injured then Cain Velasquez is gonna step in for the title fight.

maybe he was a bit underslept or something but he couldn't remember some really easy stuff with regards to his fighters, (who alves fought at 100?) said that Carwin "can submit people or knock them out" lol.

whatev, he's prolly too goddamn busy counting money to be a fanboi.
03-26-2010 , 01:24 PM
Carwin by armbar.
03-26-2010 , 01:36 PM
more like flying omoplata
03-26-2010 , 04:13 PM
Uh, he's got 4 submission wins using 3 different submissions.

Yeah really. These guys probably have women hanging off them, and who wouldn't want to know you are that tough and fit, but it's not a job I envy.

Anyone else Think GSP looked more drawn out than usual during the weigh-in? Not saying it will change the outcome versus Hardy, but if he has added more muscle mass the time may be near for a move to 185.

NO YOU HEARD JOE, 11 KNOCK OUTS ALL IN THE FIRST ROUND, I DONT CARE IF CARWIN LOOKED CONFUSED WHEN HE SAID IT.

Yea there has been alot of speculation on how much muscles he has actually put on, but I read somewhere this was a lot tougher weigh cuts then usual.

Mir looked awesome. GSP looked more drained than usual but its hardly a big deal.

Carwin didn't look great.

Markham getting fined $1k/12.5% of purse apparently, for the 6lb miss.

The UFC would be instantly more intersting if BJ, GSP and Anderson all moved up.

He'll never submit anyone in the ufc, we all know that.

but i'm not counting tapping due to strikes, and you shouldn't either.

oh pffft you'd be all over any fight of theirs in the next weightclass up and you know it

i dont think 185 has much for GSP but i'd love to see BJ vs Koscheck/Fitch/Alves. pretty sure I heard BJ was talking about moving up to WW again
