I got nothing, but I loved this little scuffle of words between a 10th planet guy and a hater on the UG.

lol, I always hated Joe when he'd use 10th Planet specific names. "Okay, he's in Chill Dog right now. Okay, he just moved into Crackhead Control and now he's going for a New York." STFU.

10th planet should get credit for what it is, a very good style for people who aren't athletic at all.

If you aren't athletic it's probably the route to go for BJJ, otherwise though traditional BJJ is superior for good athletes.


I respect 10th planet for what it is, but picking on it is lots of fun. Also I live near one, and I get a huge feeling of gigantic douche bag'ism when I go into chipotle and there are 7 guys wearing 10th planet shirts.

10th planet is smart because they marketed their system to lazy potheads. They said hey you can smoke weed all you want, come in here lay on your back and pretend to choke some other nerds who are both fighting to pull guard first.

Wrestling on the other hand is basically hey come here everyday and work out harder than you have ever before in your life. O, also you can't eat any during the season. Your ears will also look gross.

I can see how 10th planet might appeal to a certain type of person.

I am really enjoying doing both wrestling and BJJ. Especially the style of BJJ my instructor teachs, its a rougher style and he emphasizes getting on top if you can and hard work etc. At the latest tournament my guys went to, 2 guys literally dived guard on them, got a overwrap and stalled for 5 ****ing minutes it was pathetic.

Am I the only Bellator fan here? Some of the best damn fights so far this year last night, and after fantastic cards the preceding 2 weeks. Might be lacking in star power but Bellator is ****ing killing it in terms of fight quality.

I never checked to see what the odds on that fight was but pretty huge upset imo.

I thought it was gonna be done before the end of round one and then he just spends the last minute and a half following the questionable takedown locked up from the top. Really think he could have finished the TKO. Fyi it was -350. Upset for the ages

Nobody watching TUF this season? I just watched this week's. The fight was pretty cool. My favorite part was when the coaches started yelling "Feint 2, Power 3" and then about 10 seconds later, feint 2, power 3, game over. I always wonder how much the fighters are really hearing/processing stuff coaches are yelling in the heat of battle.
