I used to go to Gold's gym but then I switched to Bally total fitness and it's like a different world really.

I like the Stephens vs Cerrone matchup. Seems like a fun action packed fight. Better than Edwards getting his brains beat in.

AJ, wes: WTF is wrong with you idiots? Having said that, I was swayed by AJ's point that since wes called him ugly, he should get to respond. Plus the post is actually pretty funny, so I'll leave that one up. But no more posts from either of you e-fighting each other unless you guys actually agree to fight for real, which of course won't happen, so no more posts on this BS. If you disagree with any of that, please feel free to not participate here, thanks.

Oh this should be great.

I think since we're getting so little fighting this month AJ and Wes should be forced to fight the third weekend of March for flooding the thread with all that crap.

mma uncensored live on spike seems like an awful show
03-02-2012 , 12:18 AM
The piece they did on Pride in the first ep wasn't bad. It was too short though. Would love to see more on that.

Does spike have any actual fighting on it anymore?

Edit:Was talking about Spike Network not MMA Uncensored

Dana just commented on it recently. He says they test new fighters to make sure they aren't on PEDs, but nothing about their doctors having to approve fighters.

Caught_Clean, stop being the Tito Ortiz of this thread. Don't duck me brah, answer thy post.

Not sure if this is correct but from what I remember when Marquardt had his problems, fighters have their own doctors and are responsible for their doing their own medicals. UFC doctors only come in when there's an injury or something and they're pulling out of a fight.

Sorry I was lifting things up and then putting them down.

Pretty sure when talking about the Nate thing Dana said that when guys get on TRT it has to be Okayed buy UFC doctors, not just your local doctor like Chael was trying to do. I could be wrong about all this, and it could be you have to get it through the provided doctors for the AC, but I swore Dana said something along those lines, I am trying to find the interview. He also mentioned that Dan Henderson had done it and had it all okayed by them first, then Chael just showed up day of weigh ins like oh yea I took this my doc said I am eligible though.

I think the reason that makes sense is because like I said about the Test levels, you could blast, take a piss test, and all is says is positive for synthetic test, not how much. This was the big confusion with Chaels 16.9/1 epi test ratio, but that's not his actual test level. Its confusing.

if you can get steroids ok'd by a doc why not medical marijuana?
03-02-2012 , 01:52 AM
I think Kizer said it was actually possible (I doubt that it was realistic though) that Nick could have gotten the mj cleared but he did not try to file anything.

from what i understand nsac offered diaz to get an exemption for medical marijuana but he never did the paperwork

Kizer said that a fighter can apply for therapeutic exemption when either the fighter or his doctor can prove the treatment they have prescribed is only to be used to treat a fighter's injury or illness, without giving the fighter an advantage over his opponent.

Kizer also said that fighters have applied for a therapeutic exemption in the past, giving the commission a few weeks to process the information and make a decision on whether or not to grant the fighter permission.
the nsac woulds till have to approve the marijuana use , not sure they would have in nicks case .
