I expect several weak cards like this during the first part of the year in order to fully stack UFC 100. More pay per views I'll be skipping and waiting to watch on Netflix. Sanchez at LW is interesting...wonder how a rematch w/Florian would go (seeing how much both have improved from their Ultimate Fighter days).

i'd have to think florian would be a decent favorite now and i'd expect diego to fight a couple guys like huerta first.

rashad nut grab was so sick too. i really hated him on the show and now he's one dude i always look forward to see fighting.

now that i think about it, i think it'll be pitbull/machida vs evans first, with forrest /rampage 2 around the same time, then evans/machida/pitbull vs rampage forrest after that.

i think that'd be the proper booking.

i echo the sentiments of what was said about a lesnar fedor matchup too, with some more experience lesnar will be the first one who can really bring a threat to fedor in a LONG time (arlovski might suprise some though next month)

i concur.

it's almost as if they are trying to make the lyoto championship reign as short as possible and the only way to do it is to not let him fight for the belt until all other possible scenarios have been exhausted.

god just think of the lines if lyoto fights rashaad sometime soon.

i think i needed to make a diagram for my long winded idiot response

what i'm saying is that evans takes on the winner of machida pitbull asap, as in it'd be his first defense.

no, i got it completely and agree. my point was only that i'd be impressed and excited if that happens.

goddamn *****s. i got clean swept in this card. i bet on turk (got odds), griffin, wandy, nogueira and blindbet on some random preliminary at even money that also ended up losing. i am humiliated.

disliked the event overall. night of the luckbox knockouts.

I went 0-5 too
12-29-2008 , 11:28 AM

On Dana's UFC 92 Vlog: Episode 5 around the 9:36-9:42 mark Dana is upset about something pointing into the cage. Whats he mad about?
12-29-2008 , 01:05 PM
the late ref stoppage

Pitbull is Thiago Alves, number one contender at welterweight (besides bj obv). Thiago Silva is fighting Machida.

It sounded boring as all get up from the descriptions I've read, but that's to be expected when you put Dean Lister of all people with someone with a neutralizing style like Okami.

FREE OKAMI, imo.

So is there any way to see the next Dynamite/Dream promo on Dec. 31st? The card looks so freaking sick.

I'm not sure if the channel "eurosport" exists in the USA/Canada, but i think they're broadcasting it live.

Event Magic.tv

willie, okami/lister is up on mma-core (I think I'm allowed to post this, if not, mods feel free to delete, sorry).

edit: meh, I see the event magic site says "Available from Jan 6th 2009."

kdljsafhakj 0-3 on UFC 92 as well. Seriously need to start betting my roll on the opposite fighter I think is going to win. Looking forward to Fedor v Arlovski now.

I'd say yes... HMC looks worse and worse each fight. Crocop is tall enough to actually do some damage to HMC and will be able to dictate the fight. With K1 rules Crocop should take care of business easily, and even if it was mma rules, I still think Crocop takes it handily.

I see Mirko taking this one with leg kicks until HMC can't walk anymore.

Big Japanese PPVs have never done well in the US. I think this would do okay business but I'm sure the K1 ownership is asking some ridiculous price or something for the broadcast rights. Nobody wants to broadcast it because it is a losing venture. Maybe if the stock market wasn't so F'd up Cuban would have kicked down some cash to buy the rights for HDNet!

This makes me a sad panda. Cuban was always good to us by offering these things for free, I've been getting used to it.

Found a free stream by searching on google. No idea if they will be showing it in a bit, the quality is kind of meh.
