Thanks, I was basing the figure off of what HHH and Undertaker generally make as I know that HHH for years has been one of the highest paid guys at around 2-2.5 from when I subscribed to WOTN. IIRC, Lesnar's leaving Titan Towers was because Vince was going to give him a sizeable paycut that would put his pay below that of HHH and more right around what Angle and Paul Wight were getting (which is in the general 1-1.5m figure range that I threw out there)
regardless, like DKsr said, the fact that he's not on the road 250-300 days a year flying across country left and right and headlining the big foreign shows that most of the wrestlers hate is a major factor in him doing MMA. He can be with sable and his child, train at home and be much happier while still making relatively close to his original WWE contract

Plus the top of 170 seems to be packed with grapplers at the moment, which I think obviously favors Maia.
that would be an interesting switch down for Maia. I think he could do very well, but it is almost a catch-22 for him if you think about it. Being in a division that is grappler heavy, you will also have guys that will be good and great at defending submissions, and you have wrestlers that have excellent boxing skills. Really, maia needs to improve his striking skills some more in general as he certainly has serious talent
