Not sure if this qualfies as a Slow Pony or not, but in the May Thread I wrote...

One of the things I was thinking about is that, if after UFC 100 no titles change hands, we could be entering an era with the most dominating champions across all UFC weight classes. Never before do I remember a more impressive group than the following:
HW: Lesnar
LHW: Machida
MW: Silva
WW: GSP
LW: Penn
I think an interesting exercise is a rank-ordering of the current crop of champions based on likelihood of losses. My best guess:
1) Lesnar: A super tough and super scary dude who could one day be practically invincible, but only ranked first on account of *relative* inexperience (mostly in the area of submission defense)
2) Penn: At #2 mainly because of past work ethic/overall drive & hunger. Though he's a dog, KF might find a way to outwork Penn and pull off an upset.
3) GSP: Will take someone w/heavy hands and sick takedown defense to stop the best wrestler in MMA. Matt Serra proved GSP can get knocked out; beating him will take another freak instance like that.
4) Silva: Someone will have to do 5 rounds to AS what Dan Henderson did for round 1 of their March '08 fight. Not likely anytime soon.
5) Machida: No opponent has done anything with any effectiveness in any fight against him (Tito's failed triangle maybe?) Hard to say someone is virtually unbeatable, but...wait a minute, yes I am. Machida is unbeatable, and of the 5 current champions is least likely to lose his title.
That said, I definitely agree that we're entering unseen waters in UFC History where one dude stands to absolutely clean out each of his respective divisions, which will lead to more calls for interdivisional or catchweight "Superfights" like what was tried w/Penn and GSP in January. GSP/Silva, or my personal dream fight, Machida/Silva come to mind (the latter since I have ZERO clue how to handicap it)
Oh, and FWIW, in the wake of UFC 100, I'd switch Lesnar and Penn around, and possibly put GSP ahead of Lesnar. Because if he executes each fight in the same disciplined manner as he did w/Mir (i.e. only going committing to takedowns which give him a large edge on the ground) it's going to be really tough to see someone beating him.
