Always remember the build up to the fight. Holly was treating it like the biggest fight of her life, working with elite coaches and stressing about having to do media related stuff because it was taking up time she could have been at the gym.

While Ronda was chilling in hotel rooms drinking coffee, playing with puppies and doing a few minutes of hitting pads with Edmund.

Yeh not a bad card for a bad card. I am really not a women's MMA fan and that fight was FOTN for me.

Saki fight was sick and I'm excited to see him again.

Ishiharra v Dy was fun too.

I knew the main event would be LOL, but wow. They lit up Okami so hard on the aftershow.

That decision could have gone his way with Gaethje tho.

He's looked much better than Gomi. I haven't watched his last two fights tho, one was KO'd via spinning hook kick

Briedis-Perez in the WBSS just started. In America it's on AT&T's AUDIENCE Network (me neither).

Kevin Lee 156 lbs ffs.

Edit: If the doctor approves he's allowed an extra hour to make weight.

Title fights are on the nose, all other fights there's a one pound allowance. Saw an article earlier, something about Lee being 19 lbs over yesterday and not being worried about it because he's 'not a pussy'.
10-06-2017 , 02:15 PM
I saw that article too. He was joking about eating tiramisu also. It was hard to tell if he was being serious about any of it but I hope he doesn't miss by a pound.

I am surprised I never knew the title fights didn't give an extra pound. Is that new?
10-06-2017 , 03:21 PM
Looks like he made it the second time
10-06-2017 , 04:36 PM
It varies by jurisdiction right? Wasn't that the case when GSP fought Diaz in Montreal, he was a couple of lbs over?

it also varies by how much the officers of the jurisdictions know about their own rules.

No, that is what fighters mean when they talk about making "championship weight" when they come in spot on or even under the weight. Because champions don't get the extra allowance.

Don't know exactly when it came into action but do know it has been the rule for years.

Thanks! I feel like I've been living under a rock.

Hey, how do you find out who voted for what? Need to find the seven users to ban. Did I leave "make votes public" unchecked this time?
