Yeah fighting with a staph infection is pretty terrible. How do you hide it though? Put a bandage over it and just be like ugh, it's a tattoo? I mean it was on his chest lol. I'm sure he's supposed to disclose it, but how does the NSAC miss it? Tony should give himself staph and then sue.

Barboza vs Khabib looks very likely for UFC 219. Well, very likely to be booked, I dunno if Khabib actually gets in the cage.

I was under the impression that it wasn't very visible the day before at the weigh-ins?

couldnt hurt nate = knocking him down 5 times at a way higher weight than he usually fights?

Saying Conor doesn't have knockout power at 155 is like saying you can't be run over by a car because you haven't seen an accident this week:

Diaz said he was faking to trick him on the ground

Not knocking out Nate isnt anything to be ashamed of... dude is a heavyweight.

Who said he doesn't have KO power? The comment was he doesn't have ONE PUNCH KO POWER which he really doesn't. Obviously he's still one of the hardest hitters below 170.

I don't think one punch or not makes a huge difference with Tony, as if he hurts tony he can just finish him off anyways. I do think it'd make a difference against someone like Khabib, who even if he hurts could still take him down pretty easily.

just started training for boxing a bit, with perfectly fit wraps (the "gel" kind) and fitting boxing gloves over them as should be.

So is it normal im internally bleeding a lot between the knuckles...?
10-18-2017 , 07:53 PM
Kirby,

No, but I've only used regular wraps.
10-18-2017 , 07:55 PM
Kirby got them overnight heavy flow wraps.

Sounds like a friction issue so your wraps are probably too loose. Or you could use some vaseline.

didn't even know aldo vs lamas was booked.

Card is hot fire for a fox card. better than many recent ppvs

it's these wraps I'm trying
https://www.amazon.com/RDX-Training-...00PCIWTUO?th=1

seem perfectly fine under 12 oz gloves but somehow they dont fit AT ALL under mma gloves, when its supposed to work for both, oh well.
10-18-2017 , 09:41 PM
wew lad those look so dorky lol. definitely go get some normal wraps before people at the gym start stuffing you into a locker.
10-18-2017 , 09:43 PM
meh I really dont care. Plus people can only see them for like 20 seconds if they're at the right place at the right time...

I mean, surely oldschool wraps will be outdated someday, such a hassle. Replacements arent perfect yet tho
10-18-2017 , 09:50 PM
I dunno, for some reason I like the process of wrapping my hands. Have you ever used old school wraps before? It's like it's own version of putting on war paint

I can't stop watching that gif

For God's sake, use real wraps. Gel wraps are a joke.
10-19-2017 , 01:42 AM
Yeah, thinking back, when i used to use gel wraps my knuckles would always be split. Its pretty sweet for making people think you're a badass though!

i never knew there's been this big discussion for years about which knuckles to punch with

interesting schhhtuff

To punch with? Nah, it's the first two, anyone that's saying different wants to laugh at you when you get a boxers fracture.

In terms of wraps, wraps aren't there to protect your Knuckles (from anything beyond scrapes), they're there to compress the bones in your hand so you don't break them if you land incorrectly (with the aforementioned last two knuckles). Gloves protect your Knuckles, so if you're noticing consultant pain, get better gloves.

My first real gloves were Title GEL and I still use them. They're $100 a wonderful. I have a pair of Winnings that I use to spar but those are overkill for where you're at.
