Hopefully askren hype is real cause looking for MM matchs in one will be pain in the ass.

If Conor's power and speed didnt drop off so much when he gets gassed he might have a better chance in later rounds but that seems unlikely. I would be curious to see a re-match just to see how much changing to an extremely offensive attack in the early rounds might alter things. No matter what Conor is going to end up on his back.
Oddsmakers agree with you, Conor's no-vig line in rematch is +300 which means he needs to win 2.5 out of 10 for breakeven.

I doubt it is. IIRC he struggled with Jay Heiron, I think most of the guys with good TDD are gonna wreck him.

u think he will get wrecked cause he struggled against a guy in 2011?

I really hope Askren trade is sign UFC is planning on making 165 and 175. Given they likely are killing 125 and constantly are having issues with having good titles fights for PPVs it makes all the sense in the world.

He still seems like the same exact fighter to me. Unless I missed something and his striking got better I don't think it'll be enough.
11-02-2018 , 06:47 AM
wait the ufc got rid of mighty mouse so that they could set up the blockbuster superfight of cejudo/askren?

are you kidding me?
11-02-2018 , 06:59 AM
Cejudo better cherish his belt because his weight class is super likely to disappear without MM

Apparently OneFC gave Mighty Mouse an 8 figure contract. I'm happy for MM, dude is awesome and deserves to get paid. Sucks we won't see him fight top competition but I don't think he had much left to prove in the FlyW division. I think almost everything knows he's a better fighter than Cejudo, and either thinks he won that fight or would win a rematch. As for BW, I don't think he would have fared well there. I think he'd be top 5 but I don't think he would have been champ.

He'll go down as one of the GOATs and now he can get paid like it.
11-02-2018 , 10:01 PM
I don’t think he’s going to lose in OneFC anytime soon but I do think the talent in Asian is mostly in the lower weight classes so he should have plenty of good competition.

Damn DC weighed in at 252 and looked fat as heck.

!!!!!!!!!

how the **** do they have money like that to give out? i mean i know ufc fighters are WOEFULLY underpaid, but man i didn't think oneFC would be pulling in revenues like that. guess it makes a bit more sense if it's like a 3-5 fight agreement.

good for DJ, he deserves it. i ****ing love watching that guy fight, and he's gonna murder those scrubs over there.

No idea. I've heard they're in part a laundering money scheme for some mob similar to Pride but who knows. Eddie Alvarez also signed with them and said his deal is worth 8 figures as well.
11-03-2018 , 06:42 PM
there's so much money laundering in anything like B-tier sports related. Or just billionnaires setting money on fire and not giving a ****
11-04-2018 , 12:21 AM
you know, sure Lewis won but taking a fight 1 month after getting beatdown for 4 rounds at heavyweight cant be a good idea right?

Reminds me a bit of bisping trying to get a win back asap after GSP and getting mauled by Gastelum. We'll see I guess.
11-04-2018 , 12:40 AM
that was some beautiful wrestling. who would have thought there are levels to this stuff.
11-04-2018 , 12:54 AM
Ive was pretty certain had an eye injury from the last fight and took heavy damage .

He should have just came out throwing bombs trying to win the first in the first minute or 2 after that everyone knee he had no chance
11-04-2018 , 08:42 AM
derrick lewis sucks

always enjoy watching weidman lose

jason knight should take his ass back to the barnyards of mississippi or wherever the ****

i didn't know jared cannonier was dropping down in weight, he looked pretty legit in the new class
11-04-2018 , 10:09 AM
Every time weidman fight I'm surprised his family let him fight. How many loss since he lost his title? That must be at least 4 in a row now.
11-04-2018 , 10:12 AM
Nvm he is 1-4

He hasn’t been the same since Yoel fired a knee missile into his brain.
11-04-2018 , 04:18 PM
He looked better than ever until he ran out of steam in the 3rd. His boxing looked really solid.

Should retire, he's got enough money and he could commentate and do other stuff. Gotta save those brain cells. If not I guess move up to LHW.

Nice. Hopefully this gets the Yakuza back on track in terms of their MMA promotion game. No athletic commissions, no USADA, just literal duffel bags full of cash for any fighter that wants to get away from all the corporate nonsense. They can get Vitor, TRT Rumble, maybe convince Fedor to get on the sauce. They can possibly get Khabib if he tells the NSAC to go **** themselves. Jon Jones is probably going get himself a lifetime ban pretty soon, and I read Cain has been having some issues getting a new contract done. I really hope they rake in an obscene amount of money with this ****show.
