this is a shock. conor and his fans remain incredibly deluded:

I expected much worse from your link.
Connor is less deluded than I expected Appart from round 1 where he overvalue his stand up over what happened it was not that bad. As for fan comments are worse on khabib side from what I read but it reflect more on Connor past trash talk and his fan would be so much worse if he won.
10-23-2018 , 07:19 AM
yea i mean idk, this is clearly his ego talking and he's mostly full of ****. and his most hardcore fanboys def seem like the nut lo

but that was a super good fight, it could have gone both ways, khabib kicked his ass but i'm definitely interested in seeing a rematch asap. zero reason for either of them to fight anybody else first imo
10-23-2018 , 07:33 AM
If they fought 10 times I don't know who would come ahead.
Last fight could have gone both way even after Connor got mauled in 2nd round. Khabib took a ton of risk standing with Connor but Connor didn't capitalize on it but it could have been ugly.
A 2nd fight would be interesting to see how they both adjust.
10-24-2018 , 03:41 PM
lol you guys are nuts. Conor cheated like 8 times and still got dominated. Constantly grabbing Khabibs shorts, gloves, and the cage on top of illegally kneeing him in the head to get out of a kimura.

If they fight 10 times I'd say Khabib wins at least 8/10 barring him getting a lot more injuries and his ability declining rapidly. Conor never threatened Khabib once in the fight.

Don't get me wrong Conor did better than I expected in the grappling department, but that was because he was so defensive and also in part due to his cheating. If he gets more aggressive that'll just open him up to getting take down easier.

It was a good fight but how do you say it could have gone both ways? Conor did absolutely nothing offensively lol.

Khabib should be fighting Ferguson next and Conor can fight Diaz

No discussion about the possible ufc and one fc trade ?

Right, it's like a grappler staying on their feet against an elite striker and not getting KO'd.

Would be like saying "Woah, Faber did better than I thought he would standing against Aldo/Barao."
10-25-2018 , 07:29 PM
Not sure McGregor could have finished it in the third - like he could have but he was so tired I wasn't on tenterhooks, I would have been really shocked by a KO there. And talking of grapplers doing better on the feet v. an elite striker - Khabib won the striking battle over the during of the fight.

Can't imagine watching that fight and thinking it's a toss up going forward. Conor's tank gives him maybe 2 rounds where he's got enough power to knock out Khabib with 1 shot, but that gaves him like 2 total minutes on average b/c he'll almost always get taken down eventually.

I think Conor winning 2 out of 10 seems about.
10-26-2018 , 02:11 AM
im a huge fan of mcgregor's skills but theres no way he wins 50% of the time.

khabib's like his worst possible matchup in 3 divisions
10-26-2018 , 03:49 AM
How many times have we read about a fighter being the worst possible matchup for connor ?
I m not convinced it wasnt a coin flip where khabib got the upper hand early.
Despite the commentary stating otherwise, khabib was super emotional but connor didnt capitalize.
Anyway that was great to watch and hopefully we see a rematch next year after they both fight someone else.
10-26-2018 , 04:38 AM
only heard it for Mendes?
10-26-2018 , 06:12 AM
I ve seen it for alvarez and maybe aldo aswell

yea i mean i dont want to be misunderstood, i dont think that it "could have gone both ways" up until conor got finished, he legit got his ****ing ass beat. but the first few minutes of the fight were definitely in coinflip territory and either one of them could have landed either of a devastating punch or a solid take down to change the momentum/trajectory of the fight (until conor finally got taken down and gorilla smashed for 2 minutes or w/e...and he still caught khabib with a solid left after that, right?)

the thing about conor is i've really come to appreciate how good his timing is. dude can land shots and they're legit, nobody in that division is above getting slept by that left

khabib is for sure a favorite but saying conor only wins 2/10 is probably undervaluing his striking ability and takedown defense a bit too much

i hope they have a rematch and khabib kicks his ass again tho
10-26-2018 , 11:45 AM
If Conor couldnt stop Khabibs takedown from half across the octagon, while cheating as well, how the hell do you see rematch going any other way. You guys are crazy. Also it was 10 secs in so Conor was fresh and at full strength, still had no chance.
10-26-2018 , 12:47 PM
theres no way you could have watched that fight and been like, yeah guess that one could have gone any way, really.
10-26-2018 , 12:57 PM
In fairness Khabib was a ninja with that first single leg. He covered distance so fast on it and singles from distance are not his thing.

This.
I can only see Conor winning by KO/TKO and likely in the 1st 2 rounds against a fighter like Khabib, so 2-3 out of 10 seems like the right range when you consider his gas tank issues and Khabib being an incredibly smart fighter.

If Conor's power and speed didnt drop off so much when he gets gassed he might have a better chance in later rounds but that seems unlikely. I would be curious to see a re-match just to see how much changing to an extremely offensive attack in the early rounds might alter things. No matter what Conor is going to end up on his back.

catching up on fights from the weekend- i've always hated that patrick cummins guy and his stupid moustache, so i googled him to make sure my read is on point. and lol, not only did he attend penn state, he's a ****ing thief

Two former Penn State wrestlers appeared in the Centre County Courthouse for their sentencing on felony burglary charges Tuesday, after failing to show last week because “they were scared,” a press release said.

Eric Bradley, 29, of Plaistow, N.H., and Patrick D. Cummins, 30, of Reinholds, Pa., were sentenced to one to two years in county jail and five years of probation, in addition to paying fines and court costs.

The men pleaded guilty to all of the felony burglary charges filed against them after their arrest on May 30, 2008, District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said in December. The pair was convicted of burglarizing several Penn State fraternities between December 2007 and May 2008.
what a ****ing loser
10-30-2018 , 02:24 PM
I can't believe Cummins already has 12 ufc fights (6-6). It feels like a short time ago he was an injury replacement for a fight with DC. It almost seemed like he wasn't ufc material and was brought in because he had some kind of past beef with DC.

dang that was 2004...
