Well there is new footage that shows Khabibs cornerman jumping the fence to help/restrain Khabib and Conor punching him, so it was actually Conor who threw the first punch, also has everyone forgotten his bellator incident and him hitting a ref.

Yeah looking at the replay it looks like Conor throws the first punch in the cage but is immediately punched from behind by red shirt guy.

Everyone needs to get some kind of punishment as none were innocent.

Also Conor cheated so much during the entire fight, was crazy that Herb didnt warn once. Illegal knee being the most brutal one, then a lot of fence and shorts grabbing as well as hooking the gloves.

Regarding the brawl after the fight, Khabib and his people were jumping the cage to start fights. They get all the blame. Conor was sitting down against the cage until they came in. When you start talking about what Conor said before the fight and other irrelevant crap it sounds ridiculous.

Athletes need to start getting immediately arrested for this type of stuff like every other person would.

but for real, re: conor and his crew attacking the bus and khabib and his crew attacking conor and his cornermen after the fight....these guys fight for a living, they are literally PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS. beefs dont get settled with rational discourse and a cup of tea- it's always been sort of a gentleman's agreement that you settle it all in the cage (mainly because nobody wants to torpedo their career), but something like this was bound to happen in the "mcgregor era" of mma. people kinda handwave all the theatrics outside the octagon as showmanship and gimmicky hype or whatever, but none of these dudes are very smart and they all have huge egos and a ton of pride. lots of people on conor's side have done a lot behind the scenes to enable and antagonize the whole situation, and khabib can't get revenge from them inside the octagon. he promised a while back that he was going to make them all pay and that he would fight them any time anywhere, so here you go.

The fight was super good, round 2 and 3 were incredible.
Khabib managed to ruin everything and OutDouche Connor Brooklyn moment.
If I was part of the commission he would lose his belt and sit out at least one year.
Tbh even if Khabib did nothing his moronic team should get him punished just to set a precedent.

he's risking getting kicked out of the ufc, but would they really? they've already shown time and time again that they'll put on kid gloves for their superstars and money makers, and i cant imagine they'd throw away the opportunity for a rematch by giving khabib the boot. suspension, sure. strip him of the title, sure. but we're definitely seeing a rematch. they want these dudes to not act like animals in a professional setting, but really they love this ****.

We have no audio and only one angle, connor was just out of a huge fight were he got mauled in the head for 3 minutes straight. No one from khabib team should had been able to come anywhere close to Connor for obvious reasons.

Connor still got lucky people were ready to catch him before he could act like a super moron aswel as he was in "hold my beer" mode as usual.

I think it’s the newer casual fans that have the hand-wringing pearl clutching reaction to this type of stuff. I don’t remember there being a ton of shock and outrage when Chute Box rushed the ring and jumped Mark Coleman after he broke Shogun’s arm. Just some bonus entertainment after the bell, and a great foundation to build a storyline off of. People flipping out over this are more sports fans than fight fans, imo.

I watched it when it happened but didn't watch any other perspective or angle until just now. I didn't realize how bad Connor's punch of Khabib's brother was. I didn't even realize Connor got on the cage at all.

Herb has become so bad, he is letting people getting killed in the cage before stopping fights and now not even giving a warning for what should of been like 3-4 deduction points at least.
